Way to go Olds glad it finally hit. I went on a 3 day trip. 7K hands Friday, 6K hands Sat. and 5K on Sunday. And nothing got 4 to it 3 times even videoed the last one thinking I could catch it on tape lol
Total 17K hands got dealt 4444A and Aces no kicker. Also caught a 4th Duece for 2k early on day 1. Rest was garbage quads mostly 10's and Kings this time around.
New total 352,000 hands no Royal
I sure hope you can break it on the next trip. I am not going to start another Royalless streak thread over and bore everyone with it, but so far I have had 2 uneventful trips ( which of course means losers) since the Royal. I am going to limit my Martingalw clone method to not increasing my bet to more than 5 units until I have lost the amount that 4 deuces would pay. It is just darn expensive lately any other way. Best of luck in breaking the ice. Wish I could loan you my ice breaker. It got plenty of use this winter. More than I can ever remember.

Another quick trip yesterday 6K hands got 4 to it twice on a DDB progressive.
352,000 + 6,000 = 358,000 hands no royal.
Be glad when this thread dies.

370,000 + 12,000 = 382,000 no royal.
Highlight was $1500 win on $5 slots off a single $100 bill when poker was dead. Did this twice over 8 hours. Blew all 3k in poker plus some.
Got Jacks 8 times that is right 8x. Think I have ever had Aces 8 times in a back to back session... nope. Got quad 3's once rest was garbage. Got 4 to the royal an amazing 8 times. Back to back twice and nothing. Back to back hardcore sessions. I could almost feel it right after the first 2 or 3 hundred.

SPX I was hoping this thread would be dormant by now. All I can say is I have gone 50k hands since my one lonely Royal and nothing. On the other hand, I have seen Royals hit all around me. I know it is probably just bad luck, but it is very hard for me to accept it. Myself, you,DB, and probably some others are having similar results I have resorted to games that have the least penalty for not hitting the Royal, yet offer some other good premium hands like Bonus Deuces Wild Stud poker. One other possibility ( although I don't like the game that much) is 2 pair Joker Poker where 5 of a kind is the big payout. I have avoided this one however, since I am convinced I will hit a low paying Royal if I play that game instead of the 5 of a kind. I think Double Down Stud is quite hard to find in other parts of the country. The returns are only in the 97-98 percent range, but compared to my draw poker results, I would be happy with that. Best of luck on your next trip SPX. I sure hope my record is not duplicated or even surpassed.

382,000 + 14,000 = 396,000
Another long weekend another bust, just a bunch of garbage quads. Best hand was quad 3's. Only got 4 to it 2x this time. Once again slots was all there was won $1600 off my $100 free play. Blew that in poker plus some then put another $100 in slots and cashed out $1800 hit a couple of $800 and a $400. Put that $1800 in VP plus some again nothing. I think slots even at 80% is better than VP nowdays.

396,000 + 14,000 = 410,000 No Royal this is all single line.
Can I get an odds calculator on this where is VMAN.
Did hit a $1500 slot HP blew that in Poker with some. Only got 4 to it twice. Most of this was on a 9/6 DDB Progressive @ $4,800+

Varies depending on the game, but if the games you're playing are roughly one in 40,000 for the Royal, then it's about a 1 in 28,000 occurrence. It probably would drive me nuts too, because at the frequency I typically play, I would be over 40 and still royalless with that streak (currently 34).

Hi gang. I recently on another thread in response to a Bob D comment that my average is now from 1/1/2013 to-today 1 Royal in every 175.000 hands. None since that one some weeks or so ago. I have now given up on them and am concentrating for now on Deuces quads. They are coming in right on schedule for the most part. Usually every 4,000-6,000 hands. By adjusting my coin in, I can usually end up the day about even assuming I hit one in every session. I particularly like the Bonus Deuces game because I can not only hit the Royal, but Deuces with a kicker or regular Deuces. The variance isn't bad either and as long as the quads keep coming as they should paying 4 for one, it keeps you hanging in there. You also pick up every session a few Wild Royals, strait flushes, and 5 of a kinds. Much fewer dud hands too than job at least in my experience.
