Just got clipped on banks starting to redeem high interest bearing brokered CDs. More to come I am sure. Speaking of dividends, here is one I have owned 30 years. It pays monthly. Hovers between 7-8 percent. It is long since free. AWF.

Order in for some SPHY. It has creeped up with anticipated Fed rate cuts. I could use the 7.7 dividend. I suspect my 4.9 Fidelity money market dividends will be falling sooner than later. Bank has already called my 5.6 CD.

Market opening in a few minutes. I am following APLD hoping it will back off about a point and a half. Other than that, anything is possible after the imminent Fed rate cut tomorrow. Since the market has already factored it in, I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t pull back some. My crystal ball just says “ Got Me? “

I have been buying APLD anytime it goes under 6. This seem to be the pivot point right now. Near close today it dropped and got some more at 5.82. I put a limit sell at 6.20 if I can get it. The price is much higher do to NVDA investing in the company. I am a bit nervous right now because I am so used to buying under 4 dollars.
Ya interest rate cut Wed. I think if they cut .50 markets won't like it at first and drop as it would signal perhaps the government is worried about a recession. However I also believe any drop will get erased in a couple days. I will be buying on any drop tomorrow.

Sold my APLD today. As I write this it is up more than 10%. This is indeed a wild stock. Will wait until it goes back below 6 dollars to rebuy.
