nice of rob to let you type something, rolan. it is pretty obvious when the keyboard changes hands.

Either that or you are like gollum, which would be a little less creepy.

He takes it from us, the precious! We wants it, we needs it! We likes the special plays, my precious! We wins with it! LIAR! No... no... master says we should talk nice. Master tricks us! Doesn't look like Joe's speech has been suppressed at all. Looks to me like everything he wanted to say is right there in black and white. Must be some funny definition of free speech.

One of the reason you know when Rob is posting is his use of addict all the time. It's just one of the dead giveaways.

Also, I've given examples of my plays many times in the past. They included SouthPoint, Tuscany and Sam's Town. Even though they were all strong positive plays I ended up losing money at SouthPoint while winning at the other two. I think the only play available of those 3 is now SouthPoint.

Now I'm playing dollar OEJs at Treasure Island Casino located on the Prairie Island Indian reservation right next to a nuclear power plant, as I've already mentioned. So, I have no idea what Joe wants. I don't play "stop losses". I play 5-6 hours once or twice a week. Winning has to do with fact the game pays over 100% and the casino also offers CB and BB.

Sure it's not as good as the play I had at Sam's Town a couple of years ago. That was 102.6%. Don't find those too often. It was only quarters and I could play about 800 hands/hour. The net being about $25/hour. I've played at better hourly rates than this, but not for as long a time.

The play at SouthPoint was due to the strong CB and BB. They have since cut back on the BB. However at the time the game I played was SDB at 99.7%, CB at .9% (3X days) and BB at 1.2% for at total of 101.8%. However, 3x points were only once a month so this $50/hour play was only for a few hours on one day.

To all forum regulars:

I regret that my posting on this thread was perceived in any manner whatsoever by RS/JC as support of his/their VP viewpoints. It was not intended that way, and it was not intended to be disrespectful of any forum members.

Rascal, don't lose any sleep over it.  You aren't the first person whose words he twisted and you won't be the last.  Debating those without any integrity has its downsides, but I doubt if anyone on the forum blames you for your comments.

Webman, I know Rick Astley and I wonder if he knows that you are using his material to suppress my speech.  Did you pay any royalty to him for linking my messages to that?  I don't know what's more telling on you... the fact that you have censored me from talking or the fact that you seem a little hypocritical yourself by linking to an outside source without them paying for advertising like you are requiring from me...Webman, I don't know Rick Astley, but I liked the video and the music.  It's really too bad that you hurt r-dude's feelings, though, especially since he has such high regard for those of others.

...The business model of a casino is, quite simply, that ANYONE can win short term and please do and please brag to your friends and neighbors and forum buddies! NO ONE can win long term and please do not!

What did I twist?  Seems pretty plain spoken to me.

Funny how Rascal is apologizing for what he said in a weak moment...

I guess casinos underestimated the unique skill that Shadowman possesses.  He wins every year...????  He must be a Short Term anomally in the overall scheme of things for them...  OR a really good "stretcher of the truth"(liar)!!

Casinos are no different than grocery stores. They know that if everyone only bought sale items they would go out of business. Grocery stores know we buy other stuff and provide sale items to attract our business. Casinos know that most people don't play anywhere close to perfect so they can provide a few good plays to attract business.

Same business philosophy and this opens an opportunity for advantage players

As for me I have won every year since 2002. I lost that year after winning or coming close for the previous 4 years (I didn't keep records then). 2002 was an eye opener for me. I really hadn't done anything other than look for positive games. That year convinced me too look at other factors as well. I lesson I learned the hard way. Now I look for plays like the ones I mentioned above. The bigger the edge a player can find, the more likely they will win.

With this knowledge I found the SouthPoint play was better than any FPDW game in Vegas. I also found the play at Tuscany that was better as well and it was based on a game at 99.8% called Double Bonus Plus. What I had learned in 2002 prepared me to look beyond just the game itself. As a result my results from the machines alone has gone down while my overall net has increased.
