Your Berkshire purchases near year-end 2024 were brilliantly timed. I would hesitate to buy now. This growth spurt is unprecedented except possibly in the very distant past. There's a risk of the stock reverting to the mean.

I remembered this one because it's my only accurate prediction .



What is going on here? It can't be because Buffett reduced his role. He's 197 -- what did people expect?

Gold is surging toward 3200 after an overnight flush to 3130. A little annoying when the buying opportunities happen while I'm asleep.

You see the bonds were pushing down toward 60.

Earnings came short, and today the stock is -55% with four trading halts so far.

On FINRA, the latest bond trades are priced at 43 .

Both Brk-b and BGS up so far today. Glad I bought IBM recently. Trump hinted at using them to overhaul Air traffic control. Bought it in the 220s. Probably a mistake, but I can’t bring myself to buy UNH. Probably a wait and see the rest of the day. I registered Fidelity for my wife’s first grade class. O that’s right. She’s retired. That’s what happens when their teacher is AI. Have noticed the same thing with them lately. I had to politely tell the wealth manager ( I’m not wealthy ) to stop setting appointments for me to have them take over my account. Been telling them for a long time I am totally self directed. They are looking of course for bonuses and commissions.

I understand though that the company is at risk of a sudden death penalty if it fails to grease the correct political palms.

I'm continuing to add incrementally, now up to 8 shares as the 250 level looms.
