WAY to go, shadow, I am SO proud of you! Keep up the good work! Yesterday I hit my first w2g of the year.  I was playing a quarter 3-play progressive and hit for $1527 in less than 5 minutes. This took a big chunk out of my bad January losses.  I don't know what it is about january, but this is two years in a row where I have been just killed.

Shadow, did you play at your usual stop near your place or did you go somewhere else? Again, just being nosey!

It was at Fiesta Henderson. However, today I hit one for $2000 at Sam's Town. I like this pattern. None in January and one every day in February.

Nice hit Shadow.  Hopefully I will have the same luck this month.  My bad luck from December carried over into January.

Is the inventory at FH better than FR?

Thanks..

I seldom go to FR but from what I hear the inventories are similar with FR maybe slightly better.

Nice going Shadow! It's a trend I'm sure most of us here on VP.com could learn to live with.

I gave up. My big chance was holding the KQ of spades and drew the J ... T ... 9, close but no cigar. Got in almost 7K hands playing DDB triple play and got my butt kicked with only 10 quads (no kickers).

Shadow, with all due respect, thats some serious dunkins you lost. It's a good thing you had some winners so far to help offset the losses! Even playing 3 lines, it would take me a while to get in 7k worth because I'm a lot slower. I see people play as though they are in a speed reading contest and it puts me in a tizzy just spectating for a moment. I'm fairly intelligent but I couldn't possibly process best holds, best value in a nanosecond like that. I have to think about it for a second or two. Sucks getting old!

The more you play the easier it gets to play fast. I also think my play on more difficult games (like OEJs) makes some other games much easier to handle. I was playing at around 750 hands/hour which is actually much slower than if I play single line. In fact, before I played the triple play I played single line at another casino for just under an hour and got in around 1000 hands (and a cup of coffee).

The triple play takes a while to play out the hands and rack up credits (just like on this site), so I got in a couple more cups of coffee. I've seen some people playing two triple play machines just as fast as I play one.

I've also seen players that are much faster than I am at single line. Again, I think it's more a matter of experience than any particular skill.
