Santan Mountain opened in June and the machines are all brand new. There were several new wrinkles that I never encountered before besides the hand pay pending. The music played was different than in the past as was the signage. I tried to take a photo, but it kept flashing on the screen and my timing wasn't in sync. It was not the usual call attendant (which I didn't have to do.TripleTriple wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 9:07 amHandpay pending. Haven't seen that before. Bet 5. That I have seen...congrats!

I believe the "hand pay pending" at the bottom is generated from the slot club. The flashing messages in the center have varying formats. Sometimes it's all-in-1 including jackpot amount and "call attendant." Other machines split it up, so one flash will be "jackpot $####" and the next will be "call attendant."
IIRC, some machines just paste the notification across the center, and you can't even see all the cards. What's up with that?

Mohegan Sun alternates between jackpot and call attendant so sometimes you have to take a couple of different pictures, depending on how soon after you press the take picture button, it actually takes the picture

Well it happened again! I was visiting a friend, it was 110 outside so we decided to cool off ar We-Ko-Pa casino for an hour or so. Sat down at two side by side machines. She is a novice and I was explaining what cards to hold while playing a little myself. Game was 9/5 DDB. I held a lone jack of clubs and up came the royal. I was surprised it was a handpay. I wasn't sure about taking a photo having not played there often. When I found out I could, had to rush it as the attendant wanted me to play the off. Never checked to see how bad it came out. For what it is worth, here you go.

WOW nice 1 card hold, think out of my 200 single line royals only once I hit with a one card hold they are rare. You need to get out and play more Bill.

Congrats, OTA. I've been in some casinos over the years where anything over $1,000.00 was a handpay too. See, taking cooling breaks DOES pay off!
