I was under the impression that you had to be logged in to plays any of the games. How or why can someone without a user name play.
Is it this guy

Times must be tough for him if he's here trolling for a free room.

Webman said in an earlier message in this thread that usernames are required only for access to the forums and Gold site.  I don't know how that stuff works - what happens if multiple players with no username claim the prize?  How do you tell which one is which?

I think there should be a second prize for the most attempts in the contest.  ()  Who's willing to 'fess up on that?  I haven't kept track, but I think I've got 30-40 tries in, and still plenty of time to go.

Hmmm, to win now it would take either DEALT Quad Aces with a Deuce or Quad Deuces with an Ace, throw all away the Deuces and draw three Aces with a 3 or 4?  But then, you would have to win enough in the other hands in the round to catch the score above 60,000 posted?I'm not sure about the special straight flushes.  Could they stretch to 60,000 in one deal?

There's another less likely play that would help, but that wouldn't be enough by itself to win.  A junk hand dealt with a high multiplier, then hitting a RF on the 5-card draw.

That's a bizillion hours added to the bizillion hours already being wasted on the site.

Anyone who joined the site prior to August of last year only needs a username to play the Gold games or participate in the forum. As for how we know who is who... they are still logged in, so we have their user ID, all of their registration information, their email address, etc. and are able to contact them. Both of these members have been members of the site for over a year but have not visited the forum in that time.I have emailed the 1st and second place contestants to let them know about the option of selecting a username.

This would be an excellant time for them to visit the forum. If they stay on top like that, I'm sure everyone would like to send them  kudos. And , of course, learn what they hit to get them bodacious scores.

I think there should be a consolation prize for the top 10!
