John, I don't pay much attention as to how often my bookended pairs convert etc. Never heard of the term and doesn't mean a whole lot since it doesn't affect ER in anyway unless you go looking for it. Then you're talking superstitions and such. If you sat and made note of such hands, you'd see that it doesn't matter where the pair(s) start, only how often they convert. Where the term came from? Likely there will be a dozen answers all claiming to be the right one.
  BTW, you'll notice that Cd never denied being blind as a melon, only that he has access to a TTY VP machine. he can go and kick me on the Gold site. I've learned special breathing plays from OEJ.
