Re: Strategy Question for Diamond Status by years end
Thanks for your posts, billy and leakysqueaky. I also appreciate your info, Frank, and plan to rethink my negative attitude towards slot play real soon! Our four metro Detroit area casinos, including Windsor Caesar's, Canada, used to give weekly bonus play offers ranging from $45-75. That would entice me to play there when feasible. However, now it's in the $10 to $20 range and not worth the drive unless there are other incentives and reasons for gaming. Is this also the trend in your gaming area?Windsor and MGM had VP and slot tournaments quite often and I have not seen any invitations to those lately. Does this seem like a nation wide trend? Greektown has not had any for a few years.Years ago, Vegas casinos kept our players points for 18 mos. NOW, locally, Motor City only keeps them for 6 mos and MGM for a year. Windsor has recently cut back on the length of time for keeping our players card points active without our showing up. Does anyone know other casino policies to contribute re how long a casino will hold points without play?

But is possible to use them as cover action to good effect. I DO NOT WIN playing slots. But tossing in a little slot action has proven to be worth the effort in some places.Personally I'm happy losing $200 in theo if it increases my mailer by $400.Be mindful of how much you are losing and what you are getting in return. Not all the casinos are a fair trade off...only some.
