All I know that the casino does not bring you a W-2G unless you hit over $1200 on a single payout. Thus, it is reported to the IRS. They also give you a copy. I can hit nickels and dimes all day long on slot machines and video poker, and there is no paper trail.

How many of us can really say we are overall winners? If I could say that, I am in the wrong business. There are good days and bad days, more bad than good.

Not many...but if you're technically ahead at the end of the year, you're supposed to report. But sans W2G's, it's usually not a big deal.
