No, you aren't leaving all possibilities open. You are backtracking, AGAIN...So what?   what is this obsession you have with "backtracking"?    Wtf does that even mean exactly on this forum, and why is that such a big deal?   No one else seems to think I do this, or even care for that matter.Another way of describing "backtracking" as you call it is this:    CHanging or modifying one's opinion or understanding of certain issues and things.......and that is something that ANY reasonable or intelligent person would do.    NO ONE has all the answers or has perfect understanding of things, therefore as time passes and new info and understanding emerges, it is only reasonable that people should modify or even flat out CHANGE their opinions and positions regarding all types of topics and issues.    In the last election, people skewered Mitt Romney as being a so-called  "Flip flopper"......I laughed at how stupid and narrow minded so many people, especially in the Press/media can be.......I actually prefer my political leaders (as well as anyone else in authority or positions of influence) to be able to "flip flop" once in a while....it is a sign of reasonableness, intelligence and humility.    I am not saying I voted for Romney, but I did recognize in the man that he was extremely intelligent and had the capacity to look at issues with an open mind, and essential quality in any GOOD leader!Changing one's ,ind, modifying or altering one's position on issues....these are all things that intelligent, analytical and humble people do.   So it is not surprising, I guess, that YOU would have a problem with all this since  REASONABLE, Humble and INTELLIGENT are apparently NOT part of your makeup.Edited to add:   I "amend" what I said with this......You have the capacity for intelligence, but I suspect you allow your pride or temper, or something else, to overwhelm you capacity for intelligent thought and decision making.   This is too bad......

DaBurglar I do not have a temper but you do have a tendancy to "flip-flop" quite frequently. I have no problem with you changing your position on something but I really do hope that you keep a scratch sheet so you can keep track of all your "flip-flops."
