being a bit cagie, huh?
If I'd won that much I'd probably go home with a bodyguard!
Our friends have a son that like to play Blackjack. He was a student at Univ. of North Alabama at the time. He and his buddy were invited over to some other people's house to play. they didn't know most of them at the time. Apparently they cleaned up between the two of them. When they went back to their apartment they were met by several guys that had broken into the place before they got there and were waiting for them. They were tied up, robbed and threatened with death before the guys left. They REALLY thought they were gonna be executed. Moral of the story is to be real careful who you play cards with!

If I were dealt 4 deuces on a multiplay at high denom I would be terrified that some maniac would reach out and draw for me before I got my holds marked. I would also have to study the hold lights for a long period before I drew! I would feel better marking EVERYTHING to visually make sure I had all the deuces marked. By the way, back to an old topic, Shadow said he could play 1000 hands an hour at DW. Did anyone really believe that? When he's showing off he can play at 1500 and I can personally verify that! BUT he must be throwing away deuces in his lightening speed quest because he can't hit them quads for crap. I, on the other hand, hit them at Gold Coast and Palms in one trip. Which result left me down only a few hundred. And, yes, Shadow is the nice guy as he appears to all on here. It was a real pleasure to see him again. For any of you that would like to contact him his cell phone number is ......................, if he would only give it out!

Jm, I'm still ducks challenged. I'm almost to 11000 hands/ducks over the year so far. However, I did get a $20 shirt for the $150 I lost.
On the bright side I hit a RF today ending another a 2-3 cycle drought.
Glad your trip was reasonably successful. It was nice meeting you.

You mean for $1000? That will roast a lot of ducks! I was at Palms and watched the progressive roll over to $1200 twice. Had a 1 card draw at $1199 plus change. Did I mention the rollovers? Did you really royal or are you just putting me in my place?

I really got a royal but it was not playing deuces. It was playing a 3-play JOB progressive at Fiesta for $1300. That brings me up to 12 RFs this year in 780K hands.

with 3 deuces,it's been said to hold 5 of a kind and higher, some do not hold 5 of a kind if they are low cards, reason is they think they might get a wild royal or the 4 deuces

If playing for the best long term results, the decision should be based on the paytable. If it's some version of loose deues or double/triple deuces then always hold the 3 deuces. If it a standard 1000 credits then the decision gets more difficult. For FPDW you hold the 5oak if the pair is an ace or a face, otherwise the 3 deuces is a better hold. For NSUD always hold the 5oak because it pays 16-1.
