just one question . . .

Ha! That'll be the day!Notes1 has shown a strong anti-Bob-Dancer bias over several posts over several threads. I'm not interested in participating in discussions where he/she chimes in.If you guys wish to learn, I have things to teach you. If you wish to make personal slams against me, I have better things to doBob[/QUOTE]
i have never or will ask any poster what they earn. YOU brought up the subject to validate your point, that making money at VP was still possible. i never questioned the numbers you posted, never questioned your skill and never questioned the advice, you offered. i did question the manner/tone in which you offered it.  if you don't want to answer the question about recent years playing results , i won't lose any sleep over it.

I don't believe I've made any slams against you and I wouldn't ever do that. But I am disappointed that you did not choose to respond to my points about how one can claim they win so much for so many years and not run into the problems like I've had. Vegas is only so big and only has so many casinos that offer these edges, and there is only one Bob Dancer.

It is no secret that Bob Dancer has, in fact, been banned from several casinos, and has restrictions at others.

I didn't know that. And you know this to be factual how?

Just sayin that for someone to run roughshod over the Vegas casinos for that long would mean every casino in the city would have to be banning or stopping him somehow. I'm trying to add 2+2 and all I get out of this is 3.

Mr. Dancer at least admitted publicly to being barred from Boyd, Stations, Ellis Island, and MGM. It is at least a good amount in my opinion. Casino hosts and executives move around all the time in Vegas, so knowledge spreads in that way too.

Then the other casinos in town all allow him to withdraw mucho dinero each year along with thanking him with cruises and so forth? I'm still getting =3.

With so much of the win in video poker coming from a single hand, I suspect Bob is losing at many of these casinos.  If you're one of the casinos where he hits big, they think about banning him.  I guess sooner or later he will run out of options, but with all the personnel changes he may not. It's always been curious to me how a guy with his reputation and profile could play anywhere in Vegas.  I suspect the idea that he plays at a certain venue draws players.

That is the reason I think there is more behind than just playing a game with the perfect strategy and being offered the best comps. It is more about searching for casino's weakness to exploit to get the $100k a year.

Well, South Point will let him play there. He wouldn't teach classes at a place that banned him, I'd hope.

On a past Gambling With an Edge episode, the South Point casino owner Michael Gaughan made an appearance as a guest (listen to the first appearance out of the three). He knows Bob is an advantage player and that the double video poker point days are potentially advantageous to players. If players do not play on regular days adequately and play only on double point days, their club card will be deactivated. They will still be welcome to play without any club benefits for their play.

The South Point does promote their video poker very well with Bob's teaching and saying 10,000 games pay 99% or better.

Just being able to play 99% games or better at quarters is the biggest benefit I can ask for.
