Re: Unusual hold in Airport Deuces
[QUOTE=olds442jetaway If Bob's software let me choose a bet of more than 5 coins say up to 25 like the casino, I would be one of the first to buy it. Assuming you are getting 800-for-1 for the royal for all bets between 6 and 25 coins, the strategy doesn't change and that feature on the software wouldn't serve any purpose. Under these conditions, you'd get the same error messages practicing at 17 coins as you would at 5 coins.[/QUOTE]
This I know. However, the usual way I play requires a need for this type of software. Since it is a variation of Martingale, I need fewer wins at the higher level to cover losses with the lower bets. I know that in the long run, if I am not careful and quit when behind a certain amount, my bets would spiral out of control to the high side. That said, I was bailed out again today on 9/6 JOB. I had some really bad dud streaks early on in the session at the lower bet levels. There were no quads in the first 2,000 hands and full houses were sparse. At about the 3,000 hand level, the quads started coming as well as the full houses. At that point, my bets were in the 12-16 quarter range and I was able to pull a winning session out of the earlier disaster. That is just how I play. I know the odds of hitting and errors are still the same, but the few wins at higher levels really help me out of a bad session.

It does not change the overall odds or your long term results. It's merely a bunch of small wins followed by a huge loss. But if that floats your boat . . .
