I was thinking the same thing about posting the check with both: the account number and bank routing number intact. Next time (and there will be a next time) you should black out those numbers.

Yes to Tedlark, and also: deposit the check and maybe even let it clear before you post a photo of it. A scammer only needs a few minutes to beat you to the bank.
