Thanks for being there Doc. We were neighbors. I flew out of Marble Mountain and made many a trip to the Naval Hospital in DaNang as well as the Sanctuary in those "new" CH-46's.

You're probably right. I'm sure that the inspectors caught it before it got into our food supply. Government does such a good job of protecting us it could no more happen than say having bad water in Flint Michigan, or Camp Lejeune or now Camp Pendleton.

Ignorance reigns supreme.....The way things are in this country right now, people just react, don't care to think, don't want to think, and don't want to hear or consider ANYTHING that conflicts with their personal view of how things should be.I seriously doubt any of you who chose to "be offended" my my "awful" post even paused for a few seconds to actually SEE and discern what it was I was actually saying.....but I don't give a crap.First, my views and info about Vets and the military are based on the two people I respect most in the world, My father and brother, both of whom are vets.  My father served in Vietnam in the Air force (flew 25 combat missions as a crew chief on a c-130), and then went on to work at the DOD for 30 years overseeing the purchase of Jet engines (f-15s & f-16s)...My brother graduated from the Defense language institute in Monterey, served 10 years in the Army including a 13 month tour in Iraq during the first year of the fraudulent and totally unnecessary Operation Iraqi freedom (2003-2004).       Second, as my original post stated, I take people (all people) one at a time....just because someone claims the vague title of "vet" in itself means diddly squat.....I do not subscribe to the conformist empty headed logic that vets automatically are special (even though obviously there ARE certain truly wonderful brave special people who are Vets....get it?) .  Nope, doesnt work that way, sorry.    I have every right to feel this way, just as you all have the right to think every vet everywhere is some sort of savant, regardless of whether you know the person, know what he/she/it has done with their life or whatever.....Many vets I'm certain are wonderful, brave, noble individuals....I also am equally certain many are scumbags, scoundrels, lazy and no good....and I am certain Most are somewhere in between.  JUST like any other segment or group or strata within society as a whole/hole.     And that is ALL I was saying.....

As for your medical condition, how many time have you posted about you being in a chair and your "limited" ability in getting around? Was it just TWO DAYS AGO than you posted about your condition in another forum exchange with doris?
