It doesn't fit Phil's agenda. He's hoping it turns out the guy was a successful investor who took vp classes at South Pointe and lost his fortune.

All this crap about the shooter's video poker habits are incidental. If he would have carried out his attack in Chicago or Boston or some possible other target city then we'd be having no discussion about this person's video poker play.

Phil your dislike of Bob Dancer is obvious to many here. Is the man hurting you? Is the man doing something illegal? Have there been any complaints made against him to the Better Business Bureau or Consumer Protection Agency?

You were advertising CS as a way to minimize casino losses. The only way to completely minimize casino losses is not to gamble. I have a strategy that will minimize casino losses to even lower levels that CS would: players will bet one coin a hand. So, a player will play 1 credit; press deal, decide which cards to hold or discard; press draw and wait for the outcome of the hand; (HERE'S THE REALLY IMPORTANT STEP) player will WAIT 10 MINUTES BEFORE REPEATING THE ABOVE SEQUENCE. This strategy will minimize a player's maximum loss to $1.50 per hour. If any hand results in a push or better that pushes the $1.50 hourly expected loss even lower! WOW!!!

You pushing CS was also potentially doing harm to someone. What if a problem gambler started playing CS and it forced this problem gambler into a deeper addiction? Have you thought of those ramifications?

Please, quit your not so subtle attacks on Bob Dancer. Unless he has caused you harm what is your purpose? Please don't repeat that you are looking out for other players because as you've said before: how a player plays with their money is their business. Great post, except for the fact that this too is a monumental example of more hypocrisy.    Why don't you apply TO YOURSELF the words of wisdom you'd dispense to Phil, and ask the same questions, or consider the same principles before trashing future posts made by me?   Because what you are asking Phil to do is essentially what I have been asking You to do, and I am NOT anywhere near as big a deal as B. Dancer nor am I selling anything.....I'm serious, refer to this POST OF YOURS Tedlark before spewing anymore of your bilge in my direction.....

It doesn't fit Phil's agenda. He's hoping it turns out the guy was a successful investor who took vp classes at South Pointe and lost his fortune.Well congrats, that is about as LOW a statement as all of you are claiming Phil stooped to....(and I am NOT defending or agreeing with Phil and what he stated previously, but this is just a case of two of the same egregious types of wrongs not making each other right, or even less egregious.)The shooters Gambling/Video poker play was (in his own personal case) a single manifestation (one of MANY) of his psychological profile and problems and personality.   Without debating semantics and belief systems, Its obvious to me that Paddock was a extreme anti-social individual, with a nihilistic emptiness he tried to fill with reckless gambling.   Granted he was intelligent (to evil ends), he knew how to play Video Poker as well as anyone and he knew how toreap the benefits/perks of his VP Play, but the actual amounts of money he wagered indicate a reckless thrill seeking need, and the fact he did this gambling for days on end alone with NO one except (on infrequent occasions) his Filipino girlfriend would tend to indicate he had problems,Overall I agree the VP play was simply incidental, one of many aspects and "symptoms" of this guy's sickness, or evil, take your pick.   The FBI has recently discovered the meaning behind the numbers he wrote on several sheets of paper:  They were BULLET trajectories and calculations for wind, gravitational trajectory decay, etc....ALL FOR the purpose of indicating where and when to AIM/Fire when shooting at the crowd in general so as to maximize death.   For me the key is this Filipino girlfriend.  I am of the opinion she obviously knows more than what she lets on, and it appears she was doing the typical tactics of most Filipino women who manage to find an American male with some money, and that is to get him to pay and support her as much as possible and to then make him responsible for and to her FAMILY back home in the Islands.   Research it if you do not believe me but it is a sad and woeful (and common) phenomenon:  Filipino women are notorious gold diggers, which can and does send many men off the deep end.....did this have any impact on the Shooter?    The fact he sent her home to Manilla with $100K  just before the shooting indicates it did.....

I'd expect someone trained and educated at Harvard( The Hofstra of New England) to be able to express themselves slightly better than a sixth grader at recess, but we all have our disappointments.

DaBurglar I offered the suggestion to Phil because right now he is not much of a concern of Bob Dancer's. He isn't a pebble in his shoe nor a thorn in his side. But at some point he could be as soon as someone in the public mentions Phil or the CS to Mr. Dancer at one of his sessions and Bob gets the inclination to look at legal remedies regarding business disruption.

As for you? It is beyond easy for me to trash your posts. Granted though; not as easy as it is for you to stick your foot in your mouth...

I don't think we are getting the whole story. We can only react to what we are being told. I do think his brother and "live-in" gf are lying, and he didn't do this alone. Other than that, just conjecture. Maybe the truth will come out, maybe part of I will. It's been 54 years since JFK asssassination and we likely are not being told the whole truth on that either.
Cheers
Ps being a vp player has no correlation imo.
