Everybody wants to go back to work including dems. Please provide date and link to this poll so I can fact check you. I tried to google NPR/PBS Going back to work Poll and could find no such poll. Is this second hand from someone who merged a couple of different polls in order to get their desired result?
a few days ago i called out tech58 for referencing a nonexistent poll that he said showed trump ahead of biden....this is the tactic that is now common among all trump supporters and trump himself, just make stuff up, say anything just do not allow the other side to get the last word in; never let anything, no matter how solid or valid or correct or indisputable go unanswered or unreplied to....just say anything.
seemoreroyals, if you feel so inclined and have the time, go back and research the posts of some of these characters made in the past, particularly 2016 thru 2018 and see what was being written and said about trump and things in general before the pandemic. if you were a lurker long before you actually started posting you probably saw some of it, but its very entertaining and you just might find some zingers
AR, I have been around a long time but did not visit the forum much during the time you reference. When time permits it may be interesting to see what was being discussed by some of the trump loyalists back during that time. I did watch the conventions and all the debates during 2016. I was as surprised as anyone when trump won. I even thought about voting for him until I just could not take any more of his name calling and snarkiness.
Even when he won I expected him to pivot and at least try to be the president of all of us. trump has been gifted so many opportunities to bring the country together and be remembered as a great president. Instead of being a great leader for some reason he chooses to shoot himself in the foot and become a divider rather than a uniter. He will be remembered more than anything for being the president that allowed this current pandemic to bring are country to its knees by not taking the virus seriously and making really bad decisions in managing the federal governments response throughout.
As we speak the coronavirus is completely out of control with no signs of miraculously going away. I think guys like Fauci and Johnathan Reiner are correct in their predictions that as we move into flu season the next wave, or since we never really got out of the first wave, the continuation of the virus is likely to be worse than what we have dealt with so far because we don't have the virus contained. The lies and sugar coating by trump continue and instead of following the lead of his own task force and speaking out forcefully on proper testing, mask usage, and social distancing, trump's new thing appears to be in the direction of herd immunity. Even though it may take 4 years and cost more than 1,000,000 lives to get there.

calling someone a jerk and stupid within the same week. here comes the name calling again. seems to me this same poster does the same thing with anyone who has a different opinion/beliefs than him.
MANNERS, after YOU, RR, SMR, AR, all call me a liar. said i made it up and then you were too stupid to notice the direct link to LIBERAL PBS results. the four of you (dems like to operate in gangs/mobs) are pathetic.
here is what the survey showed, dems are either lazy, terrorized, getting paid not to work or some combination. isn't it revealing what few groups actually don't want to go back to work. it isn't rich or poor, it isn't white or brown, it isn't college or no college, it isn't N-E-S-W, it isn't an age group. it is only dems and city dwellers, who are the majority.... dems.
maybe the country isn't as divided as thought, it is only dems and the cities they live in, that think differently than the rest of us.
Thanks for posting this notes. No one has called you a liar. If you look at page 51 of the link that notes posted, there is undoubtedly a glitch or a misprint in the poll. Look under age and under race and ethnicity. All categories show a clear majority wanting to go back to work. By race, by education, by age, men vs women. The only category that shows less than 50% and they show 38% as well as an additional 15% undecided is black. I think that is why Breitbart picked up on it.
In addition to this there is some very good information on this poll. I would say if you look at the overall poll in its entirety about two thirds of the findings in this poll do not favor trump. There is about 20 different categories within this poll covering a variety of things such as public's approval of trump in handling the pandemic; which by the way two thirds of the people in this poll disapprove of the job trump is doing leading us through the pandemic. Pretty good stuff on here. Thanks again notes.
