Playing my way out of a nasty losing streak

The next time I get in a dud streak, I must remember Olds. “47 hands without two pair on JOB.” MUST stop inserting a $100 bill too. This alone destroys discipline!

I found similar dud streaks last night, This time on deuces wild. I realize the variance is somewhat higher on deuces wild than job, but the long dud streaks and there were several in the 30s and 40s busted my $500 bank roll. There were also streaks of more hands than I can count where four of a kind did not appear on deuces wild. That in itself is huge because four of a kind in that game is such a big percentage of total return. The pattern last night was indeed bizarre. Four of a kind were few and far between. There were five wild wild royals in the few hours I played, but very few four of a kinds to keep me playing. I realize this is only one session, but I am seeing more weird yes strange patterns with these newer machines that I have ever seen before in maybe 20 million lifetime hands that I have played.

Bad streaks can happen anywhere, and anytime. Just for fun, I've been playing bonus deuces wild on this site's weekly contest. The game is 10 line ultimate x bonus streak.

I have played 26 one hundred hand sessions (26000 total hands) without hitting one set of deuces. Granted, 26000 hands of 10 line is not quite the same as 26000 individual hands, but that is, nevertheless, pretty awful. In 2600 deals, I have not drawn to three deuces even once. I was dealt three deuces once, but did not draw to them, as I had five of a kind (actually, a very, very nice hand).

I will keep plugging away, as I'm curious to see how long this will last.

I love Bonus Seuces. Unfortunately, it is very streaky and usually feast or famine.

A bit of progress on the deuces front - I did draw twice today to three of them, once in session 30, and once in session 31. However, I am now up to 34 sessions without getting four deuces.

I did, however, in session 34, on a two card draw, hit a no deuces royal with a 4 multiplier.

Triple Double Bonus is probably the second most I get followed by Double Double Bonus. I did score this one Thursday.
