If holding the singleton queen is 2.30 + 0.028 = 2.328 and holding the singleton jack is 2.33 + 0.014 = 2.344, how "can surpass holding single J once the progressive gets a bit higher?" Doesn't seem logical. Explain.hophoofer wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 9:52 pmJust want to point it out...With Seq royal pay, holding J is 2.33 + 0.014 = 2.344hophoofer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 06, 2020 9:53 pmSeq royal pays 0.028 (50000 / 1.8M) credit.
Without Seq royal pay, on 6/5 Bonus poker (base pay is 96.x%), holding both J and Q pays 2.52 credits. Holding either J (2.33) or Q (2.30) is inferior.
With Seq royal pay, holding Q can be improved to 2.30 + 0.028 = 2.328, and it can surpass holding single J once the progressive gets a bit higher.
However, you should never go for a single card unless Seq royal goes up to about 350K (1.8M * (2.52-2.328)) credits. The best play most of time is holding both J and Q in this hand.
(All calculation above is simplified by not considering the impacts on over all strategy change adding Seq Royal. But the impact is negligible since the odds of hitting Seq is so slim.)

Because the return of holding Q grows faster than J due to the 2 way seq royal vs 1 way.
2.30 + (50000 + x) / 1.8 M = 2.33 + (50000 + x) / (2 * 1.8 M)
x = 58000 credits
Once seq royal surpasses 108000 credits, holding single Q is better than holding single J.
But!!!!! Holding both J and Q is much better.

At least, given the cards you drew to, you got the best possible result.

We’re talking a $37.50 SF hit, correct? Just checking.

What does the dollar amount have to do with the order of the cards?
