You're too kind. But, given the amount of free time that is spent on this site, I think that each of us would only have time to write a chapter. Now, that would then require an editor and composer and given the quality of your posts, I can see it now...Video Poker Anthology edited by Big Steve.
(I almost forgot the bylines...illustrated by Eduardo! Special appearances and quotes by cddenver, faygo, and some cat. Sergeant-at-arms: OEJ with special instructions to prevent any references to scooters, cycles, or patterns!)

Isn't that the truth!

I get to write the first chapter! It's on Progressions! The first is the Em. Hang onto that for a while and then slap it with a Am7 and fall back through Bm7 and land on Em again.
Oh wait, that's blues guitar! OOPS>

I'll leave the writing part to you big guns. You can find me in the back credits under haole tourist. One has to give credit where credit is due and that goes to OEJ! Seeing everything in black and white, cutting through all the crapola and still keep his head up looking through a cell window? I'd only be able to see barcodes after having that imprinted on my brain. BigSteve, perhaps you could influence one of the Lady players here to write the foreword like Boops or Marie etc. etc Happy 4th and don't eat too many sparklers! They burn going down!

That's for sure. Rob knows that he can't get anything by oej. Oej gets right to the meat of the matter, seeing through all of the bluff, bluster, and tough talk. When Rob trolls through the forums here in one of his guises, he trembles when he sees that oej's made a new post - because he knows that he can run but not hide when oej's around.
That being said, I'd still like my piece of the pie as far as the anthology goes. Send the check to:
cddenver
Denver, Colorado
Everyone here knows me, so I'll get it.

Huzzahs! to all. This is the best forum for the straight scoop and the most helpful contributors. . But I certainly wouldn't have the time to edit such a comprehensive tome as I'm far too busy reading each of your posts and applying what I learn to improved play. The anthology is a brilliant idea. I have no idea of what I could contribute to such a volume as I'm only a back pew philosopher or a low rent visionary. Great luck to each of you.

I think there's enough books out there already. Besides, who has the time and energy. And, who needs to when they can come here and get all the same information with a little humor to boot.
