You have to hold 4. I was @ Soaring Eagle a couple of weeks ago. Held JH just hoping to get a pair. Low & behold 10H,Qh,KH &AH. Anything is possible...

My last royal was holding two and hoping for a pair of something!  I won $1,600 for that royal as it was a progressive.  I was very pleased as my daughter is getting married and I paid off her wedding gown with the winnings plus laid back some to go play at the casino again.

i was wondering like if you're playing kob jokers wild,if the strategy is different on progressives,then a non progressive machine?

For 4 to the royal of a flush? Just go with 4 to the Royal. This isn't a tough one, guys.
