Marie: Thank god you got those broken bones out of the way in the past. I broke my humerus bone in a car accident some years back. I was bedridden for 3 months and doped up on Norcos, couldn't write or drive and had to have my arm literally bent back into place with months of physical therapy so I know how painful a broken bone is! I still have a seven inch scar on my arm from the incision and the pins that were placed in.
Regarding the contest, we'll probably be complaining about the high scores by the first night (at least I will be ) but I always have the dream of sneaking in the top 5 in the waning hours of the contest...
I hit 5 royals when I was at the casino last month in one visit (one signer for just over $2k...)but lost my shirt at the tables. Trying to break that record this upcoming trip. Incidently, it took me about 25 hours to get 5 royals. A man and his wife playing at the machine next to me hit 5 royals in 1 hour.

You must attract attention at airport security if those pins are still in place. I keep thinking these things happen to people that can handle them! Even so, sounds like you were LUCKY not to have worse injuries from that car crash!

You're right Marie. I was especially lucky since the (drunk) driver who hit me was killed in the accident.

See. there you go, billyjoe. You'll have plenty of time to win that contest and put your life in order, before they shoot you on Thursday. gl I will try to remember to think positive thoughts for you, Thurs., when I am enjoying a "Dean Martin" performance w friends, locally. Perhaps the three other performers represent the other members of that rat pack -Sinatra, Davis and Bishop. This guy has performed in Vegas.
