They didnt check my machine at the Taj when we won the $ 24925.00-but on the NCL cruise where I won $10000 they did check the machine. Neither time was VP.

We have never had a check on $5 RF in La. either. And, we have seen up to $10K without a check. It may be the amount or the circumstances.
Ms.LL hit a $10/hand RF for $8K one night by accidently hitting max play on several hands and hit the RF. That night she did have the machine checked. The funny thing was no one came to pay her. She kept waiting finally after about 15 minutes she sent someone playing by her to find me and asked a housekeeping person to get security.
Security came, after a radio call then a tech came, another call then a supervisor came... the machine was registering only a $800.00 RF instead of $8K. Needless to say we were both anxious for a few minutes but we weren't leaving until we got the $8K which they paid without hesitation.
They apologized that she had to wait so long and then checked the machine to see why it wasn't communicating correctly. It was only showing an $800 win on their monitoring screens as well.

See this is the kind of stuff that just makes you wonder on all the other spectrums of functionality of the machine.
Just last night everytime I won a hand (no matter what the payout) the machine would spit a ticket out at me.
And I have an even better story than that I will save for another time were I didn't win $254,830.00
