Caesar's Windsor in Ontario, Canada, is a smoke free casino. But it's a trade off. They do not allow anyone to win there!   (sorta kidding, maybe) We believe it is a Windsor community wide ordinance, re the non smoking, eh? Some of their hotel rooms on some floors are for smokers. Actually, some people light up AFTER I have established a serious rapport  with a machine. Michigan became smoke free last year in public places but casinos are exempt.

Another night I had some lady next to me with a personal fan.  She started out with it pointed to the right, then decided to put the fan right in front of my screen to blow the smoke.  I wasn't the one smoking. I couldn't see my screen, cashed out and left. Seriously, the smoke was so thick, you couldn't see your screen? That's terrible.

No the lady's hand, arm, and fan were in my way.   The smoke was just wafting towards her.

Hi Lucky, my wife and I were at IOC saturday when a man sat down between us, his cell rang about 5 times & we noticed he was talking to wife across from us. Wish us luck we leave thursday am for Vegas for a week.

Hit a couple of RF for the two of us while in Vegas. BTW: Half the time I can't get cell service at IOC and now never in the back VP room. How do you like the new IOC arrangement?

Actually, it's Ontario wide. (the smoking part, not the non winning part).

haha.. I was just reading this thread and laughing.   Have to relate a quick story.  I hit a RF at Viejas in Alpine, CA less than two weeks ago.  Three young ladies waited until the host disappeared to go get my hand pay and they came over to make conversation.  I kid you not - they propositioned me right there on the spot.   It was so incredibly awkward.   I said no thanks and that I was about to call the little lady at home (we actually broke yp, but I needed an out)..   One of the girls laughs and says she doesn't give up that easy and .. thankfully disappeared when the host came back to handpay.   of course the one who said she doesn't quit easily appears again as I am headed to the casino cage.  Ughhhhh.   I ended up giving she and one of her friends $5 apiece as a friendly good luck gesture.   I was in very high spirits with the host and had tipped her $40.   If they saw that... I think my $5 to them was a clear message that I am not interested...  I think they were a little offended.. I think?   but I didn't see them anymore.

One of the reasons I love our non-smoking casinos here in South Florida.  Four of the five I visit regularly do not allow smoking in the entire casino.  Prevents those awkward situations.

Congratulation on your jackpot. BUT, If she said to me that she doesn`t give up so easily. I would call for security. They are watching you getting paid-off from a jackpot. Who knows if they have more friends around.

I have encountered a few people who slap the crap out of the buttons but usually my wife and I end up taking a 15min talking break and usually the person leaves by then....otherwise I don't know what we'd do.

I had a different kind of annoying player sitting next to me last Sunday while I was playing. I was at a bank of three machines and a woman was playing the center machine. I started playing on her left side and everything was fine until I switched to the machine on her right side: I was hit with a smell that was a cross between rotten eggs and green onions. After a while I asked her if she smelled the smell and she said no, that she didn't. It turned out the smell was her because the ventilation system was blowing from the left. The woman had the worst body oder I have encountered in a long time. At one point she took her jacket off and it got even worse. The guy she was with kept coming up to her and saying that they had to get going and I was hoping that she would leave but I ended up leaving before her.
