Pet Peeve: Single Credit Players

Let me preface this by saying I could count on one hand how many time's I have been in a casino in the last 15-20 year's. You people piss and moan about paytable's,smoker's, casinos cheating,club card's that just aren't what they used to be etc. If it is such a miserable time at the casino why in the hell do you go?

  I'm not complaining so much about the smoke in a casino, rather, I'm complaining about the smokers that gripe about repositioning their cigarette if asked. This is especially bothersome if I am sitting at the machine first and they come up and just start puffing away. In defense of some smokers though, I have had some ask me if it was allright if they smoke and that makes a world of difference to me.

You got it right regarding inconsiderate/arrogant smokers. The other problem I have is with casinos that have poor ventilation in which case the second hand smoke can come from the other side of the bank of machines or another bank entirely.

That actually happened to me on Friday, I was pretty shocked and really appreciated it and did ask that I'd prefer she didn't. She was able to smoke soon enough anyway, my machine was garbage and I moved.

While your at it ditch your sunscreen too and do your taxes in the middle of your backyard while sunbathing, my gut tells me you are clearly immune to skin cancer as well as lung cancer and heart disease.Good analogy.  I probably want to avoid sitting near a window during the day because that horrible indirect sunlight is JUST AS BAD FOR ME MAYBE WORSE than direct sunlight.

Back to the original topic... these people often make me want to slay them.   Especially when they're parked at scarce/unique machines with bonus features... for example, the Taj has only seven Ultimate X, two Dream Card machines, only two Good Times Pay (and AFAIK those are unique in AC) and exactly one Triple Play with Match Card.   Daily, I see people playing these machines, one line, one quarter at a time.   MOVE! Go play one of the numerous single-line games, one quarter at a time -- or better yet, play one of the nickel machines at 5 coins -- and stop wasting space and oxygen.   I really, really, wish they'd lock the machines like they do many of the penny machines, so that you have to play a minimum of all lines bet.   That would get rid of most of these idiots.
