Actually Ted, he would not quite be that nice about it. He would probably call you a dick. And remind you that he had a major from Harvard in Economics and Political Science. Etc., etc., etc.

Well, as I said before, congrats.....however, it's funny how someone, like Ted, who claims I bore the hell out of him, and who claims that I hold no importance or place in any of his thoughts, is chomping at the bit to have me see and post in this thread.    Also is funny (in the most NON-funny way) that petty, hypocritical cowards like chatty cathy spew all this nonsense in other threads about positive thinking and vibes, and here he/she/it is just getting in cheap shots when I am not here to respond ( it just shows his/her true colors like I have been saying all along.)  Anyone with a brain and basic sense of fairness can see that....Ted, all you have to do is show up at the Taj in AC (better hurry up though, you never know.... it may close any day too, or else fall apart from disrepair and be closed or condemned) and I will be there to watch you play the two dreamcard machines.  I think though, Vman hit upon a VERY obvious and telling point.....all your pics of the machines at this "Foul Winds Casino" CLEARLY omit the part of the paytables that would show the world that you are playing a really Sh*tty game.    Now...... I am not saying that NONE of the rest of the forum (including myself) NEVER plays paytables that someone like Bob Dancer would consider unplayable....we all do.    If someone wants to play VP, It is unavoidable unless a person wants to ONLY play in a place such as VEGAS or maybe RENO.  So I would really encourage you to just STOP now and quit while you (MAY be) wayyy  ahead.   Seriously....that would actually be a SMART play.    You claimed the TDB dreamcard was not paying so you switched over to Deuces wild.....would you like to know why?  (Rhetorical question, I am going to tell you anyway...)it is well known amongst knowledgeable DREAMCARD players that Deuces Wild offers the HIGHEST rate (or incidence) of Dreamcard activation/appearance, with MOST games being set at or around 58% by most casinos.    That is to say when playing Deuces Wild Dreamcard, you will get a Dreamcard almost 6 out of every 10 hands!!!!Triple Double Bonus Dreamcard (TDB) is usually the LOWEST (or worst) of all the games available on a dreamcard menu, typically set around 26 to 30%, so that about slightly more than 1 out of every 4 hands will have a dreamcard, on AVERAGE.....so this means you can go many, MANY hands on TDB without ever seeing a dreamcard, all the while blowing through 10 credits a hand.DO you know how to find out, Tedlark, just what exactly is the dreamcard rate setting on each particular game you might consider playing on the dreamcard game menu?   It is a Variable setting that the casino can change and set according to their wishes, but they are obligated to inform the player, so I am asking, do you know where this information is found?    Hint:  I already gave the answer several times in past posts......

DaBurglar I'll respond in the order of your post so that you can follow along.

I won't speak for anyone else mentioned in your post.

As I have mentioned before, I play video poker for entertainment and the pay tables of any game that I do play; do not concern me in the least. As for this being an "obvious and telling point", what exactly is this obvious and telling of? You answered your own question at the end of the paragraph. So if you already knew that answer to the question; why did you ask it?

You can encourage me as much as you like but I'm quite certain I will not be taking your advice.

I didn't "claim" that that TDB was not paying, I SAID IT. I rarely, RARELY play deuces wild but in this case it was hitting so I rode the wave all the way into shore. If you take the time to go back and review ALL of the posts I have made regarding my Dream Card play at Four Winds you will see that none, NONE, of my wins came as a result of playing any game other than TDB.

I know how to determine the dream card rate setting BUT I DON'T CARE.

I'm still waiting to hear about your most recent excursion to Atlantic City. I will have my Websters nearby along with a fresh box of kleenex to wipe the tears out of my eyes.

Again DaBurglar don't be a hater.

Again DaBurglar don't be a hater. Hey Ted, take your own advice.....everyone here is not as STUPID as you are....And edited to add:   Obviously now I touched a nerve, never have I seen you do as much "Backpedaling" and self-explaining and justification as you just did.   Yeah right...."You could care less....PAYTABLES Do not Matter!"    I even gave you an out (or level playing field) by acknowledging that we ALL have to deal with this issue, and we all play crappy paytables unless we make an effort not to by staying and playing in Nevada.   Christ.....you really went off the deep end here.

NAHHH .... let me save you the trouble, and whatever MORAL problem you seem to be having embracing your own true self and feelings (again, HYPOCRISY is your specialty)......your "dislike" of me, is essentially hatred.   And functionally, it works the same....so let me encourage you to embrace that sensation I seem to be generating inside of you.   Go ahead Ted.....Because, all kidding aside......the feeling is soooooo, sooooo mutual.

No need for me to backpedal DaBurglar. I have also mentioned many times before that paytables do not matter to me and I play video poker for entertainment and if I make a few bucks; that's just icing on the cake. I do not care why other people play video poker either, crappy paytables or not. No you dd not touch a nerve.

I enjoy seeing you try to un-paint yourself out of corners.

The Only corners are the dark one's inside your clearly, increasingly dysfunctional mind.  The more you say you do not care about paytables, the worse you look....Bob Dancer is coming to get you and your icing-less cake.  You can talk "entertainment" all you want, but as Bob astutely points out, "winning is entertaining, losing is not"......Even still, I once again offer you a lifeline:   WE ARE ALL FORCED to play less than optimal paytables these days, many of us do not have a choice unless we want to wait until the yearly Vegas Trip rolls around.   But since most of us still CARE about paytables, we try and always choose the least crappy paytable for whatever game we want.   But you cannot even compromise on this point, insisting "they do not matter at all".....whatever The reason I know I touched a nerve is because you said "I did not touch a nerve", so that means that I , in fact, touched a nerve........Quod Erat Demonstrandum.   which is increasingly easier with you these days because you are afterall, a very "nervey" person.
