Re: Got Dealt a Royal Flush!
Relatively early in my VP "career" (1992), I was dealt a RF at Tropicana on a $1 machine (I still remember my knee hitting the glass screen in spontaneous excitement and causing it to crack). Less than a year later, I dumped 5 cards on a Deuces Wild $1 game at Caesar's Palace and received five RF cards on the draw---boy was that a shock! It took 16 more years before I was finally dealt another RF at Green Valley Ranch (this time, thankfully on $1 5-Play) for $20,000. I hope I don't have to endure another 16 year drought to hit my next one.

Not terribly profitable, $1000 and $62. I hope I don't sink into your drought now!

I appreciate the knowledge of 0.6% cashback with that triple line DW progressive, its a good bargain.
I just want to confirm that, yes, we received the double points for our play on the 25c three line progressive (playing 98.91% deuces wild). I do find it hard to believe that some people choose to play some of the other offerings on those machines.
Just for fun, I worked out some game values versus progressive royal amounts.
Before the $1700+ royal was hit, the average royal value was around $1330, and the game return was 99.54% (without cashback).
When I was dealt the royal, the average royal value was $1076, and the game return was 99.05% (again, excluding cashback).
The average royal value to make the play a 100% one (game return 99.4% plus 0.6% cashback) is about $1250.

I just hit 2 fifty cent royals in AC Thursday, but neither was dealt. Both were holding 3.

Yep, but in 2013 won enough to cover a small loss in 2014 and everything this year with some room to spare, but now getting close.

I see. The odds are catching up with you, as they invariably do.
