Re: Still want to play one hand?
Yes, he won $25,000 but was screaming that it should have been $200,000. Believe it or not, I felt his pain even though he had won $25K.
So, he got the absolute best possible result he could have, for the game and stake he was playing, and was upset? Too bad - if you don't want a short coin royal, don't play short coin.

It might be flattering, but it is yet another great opinion from onemoretry.
If the person was not aware of the potential implications of betting short coin, the person is not a serious player to begin with, and mistakes at those stakes can be serious amounts. The only other alternative would have been to switch to 3 play for the final hand and bet maximum.
The person was likely throwing away the remaining credits since that is what most high roller slot players do with excess credits. And they will get mad if they hit something big at credits much lower than they are betting at. I do not think that guy will be happy since he is probably down well more than 200k in the hole that the potential max bet will pay out.
That is what it comes to on the Vegas strip these days, the best places require $5+ denomination play unless people play lots of short pay games.

Borgata was packed yesterday for a massive free slot play promo. This forced me into the appalling 8/5 JOB scene for the first time in ages. Fortunately, I hit a quad after only losing $8 and got the hell off.
