I didn't save any of the info but it shouldn't be hard to find if you have a real interest. I was a little surprised and confused to discover that record revenue numbers were being seen because the economy just doesn't feel right to me. Now my guess would be that it has a little to do with much lower fuel prices, people have a little more money to spend and businesses don't see as much of their profits gobbled up by higher fuel cost. I own and operate a small business and I know when fuel prices spiked a few years back it about killed our industry.

it does not matter how much the government takes in, they just spend more. this is what happens when folks keep asking the gov for more and to do more, they are happy to oblige. money equals power, that is what a pol seeks.yes, this is more or less true.....what I am at pains to point out though is the hypocrisy of many in the republican side who like to portray themselves as "fiscally responsible and conservative" when in fact nothing is further from the truth.  I have said before that the only real difference between Dems and Repugs  are the THINGS  they want to blow money on......  You hit the nail on the head;   any politician from either party is going to ALWAYS vote in favor of things HIS constituents want:  Whether it is more benefits for poor people like a democratic rep from a Big city would want, or a NEW MILITARY BASE  (or keeping an obsolete BASE open) for a congressman of EITHER party who happens to represent the area the base is in..... another prime example is the FARM Industry and how reps from various FARM regions (mainly republican but also a few democrats)  are gung ho for anything related to or helping the FARM Industry (which covers a lot of stuff).        This is their POWER, and this is their reason for being......Anyhow, someone find a break down of FEDERAL spending (i.e.  find the Fiscal year Budget for 2013 or 2014)....it is time we see once and for all where all this money is actually going!   NO BS,  no speculating.....where is it going exactly!

DaBurglar I would have posted more but I didn't want to hurt your feelings. I was a bit pressed for time, I racked up another daily game high score here, I'm in about 23rd place at the Ultimate X monthly 7 Stars contest and I wanted to drive over the Hollywood Casino in Joliet to spin off $450.00 in free play. I brought along $200.00 of my own and I managed to walk out of there at 5:00 am this morning with $3,100.00 in my pocket. I caught quad deuces early when playing Deuces Wild and after that things kinda just started rolling my way: 1, 1k royal; 1, 1k AWAK, 3 aces without a kicker; and, I caught 2/3/4's with a kicker 4 times. Yearggh.....
