Re: buying a pizza
DB, I rarely go to AC anymore. still enjoy the marina area, but the boardwalk has lost a lot of it's appeal for me. and, when i do go, it is on a free (yeah, right) junket trip. don't think i mentioned this before, but the last time i went (month or two ago), was when you and jeter were going to meet, and i was just going to stop in. but, my arrival was the day after your meet, so it did not work out. right now, prepping our house for sale. have not been in a casino since last the AC trip. good luck at the poker tables. well, if you somehow do wind up in AC again, please let me (and this forum) know......I did not realize you were selling your house and making such a significant change/move in your life....I hope it works out the way you planned. Where is it again that you currently reside and to where will you be relocating? If its too private to discuss just say so but I am genuinely interested, because I see that you are a knowledgeable player so you must be able to keep your video poker skills and "game" up to snuff by having good access to some casinos. What (or where) did you consider to be your "HOME" casino(s)???

not too private, live in NC, looking for warmer winters, moving to FL. will likely be losing money at tampa. thanks, but i have never claimed to be a knowledgeable player. even though i have had my tussles with dancer, it is obvious he is well schooled on how to get the most out of VP. i say this with respect, he is a tightwad, when it comes to VP, just like jean scott. i like that in a person. hunt for the best bargains, search the best deals, get the most one can get from the casinos. i am a realist, casinos are not in the business to let gamblers win. i want to hold those who claim there are plenty of winners feet to the fire. show the same proof they demand, when someone states something they disagree with. i/m/o, dancer's more recent posts have been the best i have seen on this site. he makes it clear, it is damn hard to make money at VP, especially in the six figure area.

Notes, I just caught your NY Blowhards comment. Bravo. Depending on wind direction, I can almost hear them from here, and I can certainly hear them from a hundred feet away at the casino. Now, I must say, I have met many really nice and down to earth New Yorkers including a retired high school and college math professor from NY who I just met a few days ago at the casino. I know I will catch he.. for this, but sometimes the women can be the worst. To appease the nice ones, I have met some really nice and beautiful ones as well.

Boston is right up there as well, only they can actually be even more obstinate and downright HOSTILE (i.e. willing to get into fights over the most inane, infantile, insignificant things!)To me it is a toss up as to who (or which city) is more obnoxious, Boston or NYC.

I hear you about Boston DB. Most of those and your comments I can from personal experience attribute to both smoking and alcohol. I have really had to hold back a few times over the years at the casino from getting into it with one of them, for fear of getting banned. It may be a toss up, but from my experience, there are more New Yorkers at Mohegan than Bostonians. Again, I will say that I have met some great people from both groups and I will myself admit to being a blowhard on occasion.

If you run into an ahole on your way somewhere, chances are you ran into an ahole.
If you constantly run into aholes, chances are you are the ahole

Now that one is probably true except when there is a full moon. On those days, the kids at my wife's classroom bounce off the walls and if you drive on I95 watch out. You will need 365 degree vision and a Sherman tank.

I refer you to the second axiom.
