I watched a second showing of a live homage to Norman Lear's "All In The Family" and "The Jefferson's"... It was a very entertaining trip down Memory Lane along with a tremendous savoring of television as it once was..

All in the Family....was one of my favorite shows. I didn't watch the Jefferson's, but rarely missed...The Honeymooners...The Beverly Hillbillies...and of course Twilight Zone and ....The Outer Limits, and I don't I think I ever missed Star Trek. There are more, but I won't elaborate now. Now the question is....Where did we find the time to watch all of these? Very simple.....No computers, no cell phones, no voice or email, not even an answering machine. Of course there was tons of homework, and those hour long phone calls with ones girl friend. In the infancy of TV, it was mostly Andy's Gang, Howdy Doody, Superman, and a rare one few will remember...Topper...
