Re: Why is HE speaking to Casino Execs?
My only goal was something that would increase session wins and not improve or reduce overall expectation. Stop raining on my parade.

good answer 80% session win but losing trip atleast you did not chase losses like rolandude whom chases losses starts with quarters and goes up to 100 dollar machines to recoup losses which can bust out his life like someone whe all heard of. most of us on this site play fairly well and play games with strong paytables but play for recreation . we will not let a trip to las vegas make us pay for it for the rest our life. thats why one should play at the level that one can afford

Let's be fair here. Ronalddude never said anything about 100 dollar machines and he does set a reasonable loss point for a trip. But here is the problem with the reasoning.... the more reasonable the loss goal, the more frequently those losses will occur. You could set a loss goal of $50 and say that you are guaranteed to never lose more than $50. But when that happens more frequently it is no better having 10 of those losing sessions than a single $500 loss. That is precisely why going by "winning sessions" is little more than a feel good strategy for a trip when expected return, as rolanddude now admits, is not impacted. Nothing wrong with feeling good once in a while, though. Just don't preach it as anything remotely "superior" since it clearly just a matter of preference. There is nothing to "buy" here, nothing worth convincing anyone over. And it in no way argues against playing the game with correct strategy.

Rather than "promoting" this "free" program, why not just google martingale/betting strategies. You'll see the progressive system has been around for awhile and although very risky, it can be rewarding too. The odds are not in favor of the player however and luck does play a huge factor. No amount of numbers can predict or deny luck. It just happens. It would be nice to be lucky more often but I'll stick to the program for now.

And to think you only lost $217.25. That is awesome . WTG
Next time do the adding so I don't have to get out the calculator. Thanks
I just went through Eduardo's sessions and he's lost another $100 in the last hour or so. But that is a very good winning percentage, and not much lost in the hands played. If those total hands were for my own single line quarter play I wouldn't be unhappy with the $'s lost for that stretch. Not unhappy at all.

I just went through Eduardo's sessions and he's lost another $100 in the last hour or so. But that is a very good winning percentage, not much lost in the time played (I've lost more than that, faster), and we all know that he's due for some nice hits to help out on the dollar side. So I say, keep at it! I think Eduardo needs to nail down that elusive RF first! He has some supernatural control of the RNG but his timing is bad. Can you see a PATTERN here? Whether it's 50 $10 sessions, 10 $50 sessions or a single $500 session, your loss total is still the same, just depends how fast it goes. I'd personally, rather see it die a slooooow death so I can enjoy it longer but the comp points and loss total remain the same. A smarter bet would be to parlay that bankroll into shadow's bankroll and the percentages will offset the loss total.

The only SAFE strategy is if you get ahead, quit. FOREVER. Until you are prepared to do that, short term sessions are meaningless. Because another session is in your future and it is just as unpredictable as the first.
I like a winning trip. But I always look to my overall wins when it comes to my record keeping. Right now I am down a little, but almost back up to even after my last trip (which consisted of just 4 hands before I hit deuces) .
So clearly I put some stock in finishing ahead or I would have kept playing. But at the time I didn't have a lot of time to play so I figured I might as well keep it on a good note. But the last thing I would do is tell anyone I played better than their way that day.

Caveat emptor, well put Eduardo! Because of the ER, I don't expect to return home a winner but to even out the losses with enough winnings to cover them thus returning home even or slightly ahead. Even winnings would still have one slightly ahead because of the added RFB costs. I would hate to drive out to LV, hit a $4K royal on the fifth hand and have to call it quits for the remainder of my time there. It would result in a winning session but I'd have to be ultra creative with my free time. I would get a lot of sightseeing done though!

I do not know what caveat emptor means, but I will assume it means I am a genius. In which case you are right because I am really really smart, at least compared to most people my height.
