Re: Loosey Deucey Mama Moosey!
Eduardo, Since I didn't get a chance to read what you wrote (Not everyone can be glued to this Web site 24/7), I cannot directly condone your writing, but I'm certain that my sentiments have to rest with you on this one. Sorry, Webman; I'm usually on your side, but Eduardo probably deserved a bit more slack on this one.since the person I assume you are
speaking about has no way of responding here, I'm going to have to say
that this discussion should probably get back on track without
reference to him. Thanks.
Webman, as far as I know r-dude is still allowed to respond here, so referring to him should not draw the same penalties, right?

I guess maybe I should wait a day before offering Eduardo my belated congratulations on the nice hits. Maybe he can use the cash to put a down payment on a used Corvette (ZR1 no less) bought from who else but "The Chopper".
Getting to the REAL news around my part of the country is Oprah, I'm trying to talk her in to doing a video poker special as her last show. She can have all the experts show their special plays and put a massive hurt on all of the casinos. After all, with Oprah airing this show HOW could the casinos be mad? I mean everybody loves Oprah, right?
Back to Eduardo. Has a day gone by yet? Eduardo was put in to time out for defending himself, who we gonna call? Bozobusters? dadada, dadadada, dadada, dadadada...
Seeing that Dr. Malfi no longer has a patient as Tony Soprano went off the air, maybe we can get her to have Mr. Multi-ISP sprawl out on her couch for a session or two.
I think the last time I heard someone refer to a Hispanic what Eduardo was called was when I was watching West Side Story. Speaking of musicals I much prefered Guys and Dolls as I truely appreciate Jean Simmons. Oh Marlon and Frank were pretty good in that movie too.
Has it been a day yet? Oh well. What a difference a day makes, 24 little hours...
Anyway. Belated congrats Eduardo. Maybe I'll offer them again in a few hours. I may not be a poet all the time but I can really sting like a bee all the time.

Since Eduardo was 86'ed earlier I haven't been able to communicate directly with him, but I did see some smoke signals he sent up on the road south as he headed back to the hacienda. He's returning home with only $995, as he saw a scooter by the side of the road and gave the owner $5 for gas money. He's not sure how much good he did, as the guy simply grabbed the cash and took off running for a nearby cantina, but it still counts as a good deed.
He thanks everyone for their kudos and apologizes for his bad language (), accepting the temporary banishment. Hopefully we'll get the old Eduardo back upon his reinstatement, with a or two.

What a terrible person that Webguy! How could you banish Eduardo for a day. He's only speaking on his behalf and last time I checked, free speech within limits were still allowed. Have the criticizers explain it. They're the ones who usually start all this nonsense anyways.
CD, you may want to check with the huggers union first. Inappropriate touching/hugging by a union member may constitute political incorrectness and we must strive to stay "PC." (yeah, right!) Go hug a tree. Just don't try to hug me. I fully support Eduardo as I was there and I saw what he did. (except when I left him to go to the expo) He did have that look in his eyes like he wanted to go spend some of that dinero though. Too many ways to lose your winnings in Vegas! Eat an ear of corn, save a taco!

Well, I often say "there is no mercy here!". Webman plays no favorites, even when it comes to the regulars.
Eduardo has had the as his trademark for so long that I think he's grandfathered on it. Don't have to worry about any tree-hugging on this one, Cat, since Eduardo done burned 'em all down today to make smoke signals. Any and all environmental impact paperwork on that should go to Webman, though, for causing the situation.

Checked my email today and no bozo or bozo's lover email in my inbox. It is going to be a good day.
Hang in there eduardo the struggles of us minorities pay off in the long run brother. Lest we are thankful we don't have to look at the bottom of an empty bottle every day like BOZO.

OK, I've been away for a day reading about the scandal in the climate change arena. If you haven't heard the scientists responsible for much of the support of man made climate change have been hacked and it is obvious they have lied many, many times. Looks like another scandal in the works. ClimateGate?
I did receive the bozo email and I got quite a good laugh. Not as good as I got reading all these posts though. Looks like the bozo is off the forum wagon after just a couple of weeks. He'll need another trip to FA (forums anonymous).
BTW, congratulations Eduardo on both your wins and your day in the penalty box. I'm sure it felt good to get that off your chest.

I've been reading that too. As an example of how strongly views are held on the issue, only one of the dozen or so anti-warming articles I read this morning even mentioned that a crime had been committed and that the hackers (if caught) should be fully prosecuted. But it is a real scandal if the information is true. I saw there are a lot of articles on it, here's a link to one for anyone who's interested:
http://michellemalkin.com/2009/11/20/th ... e-century/
That article is simply one of the first that came up when I googled. I forwarded that link to one of our forum members in a PM asking if the same thing could be true about controversial views in VP, and here's the response I got:
Hi, cddenver -
I hope you're well. Thanks for the information you sent on the global warming scandal. As far as global warming goes there are legitimate opposing views and the issue should be decided strictly on the facts. If true, the business of suppressing and ignoring inconvenient facts, falsifying information, poor test protocols, sloppy recordkeeping, making personal threats to those who have opposing views, inventing conspiracies, ignoring results of one's own work if the results don't reflect the desired view, and outright lying all for personal and professional gain is indeed shameful.
But all of that is ok when it comes to VP, because VP is completely different. The basic notion many of the forum members have that casinos can remain open simply by complying with published regulations, having negative return paytables and randomness, and cutting back on staff, services, and comps is not only naive, it's patently absurd. There is no legitimate opposing view, so what would certainly be seen as shenanigans in the global warming debate is perfectly acceptable when it comes to VP. Nothing is more real than reality. To put it simply, there is nothing wrong with working the numbers a little when conventional mathematics don't reflect that reality. That's just common sense. If there's a buck or two to be made along the way there's nothing wrong with that, either.
I hope you and yours have a happy and safe holiday!

Thats a semi-true statement. There is nothing more real than reality. Tweaking the math numbers won't give one a better payback percentage however. There's absolutely nothing wrong with making a buck or two if it can be done without increases in the loss column. That would defeat the purpose of playing at an optimum play strategy to begin with.
