Re: Revel $100,000 loss rebate
Any takers out there? Just what would THAT dud rate be?
NOW I fully understand why you were so bent out of shape when I made my flippant "GAY" remark a few months back..... Anyhow, I just have read the Lonnnnng post on the other forum, Wizard of whatever, concerning the Revel promo, all 51 pages of it.......I am laughing at how thoroughly bent out of shape so many people are over there concerning this whole subject; it's a good thing tedlark isnt posting over there because a whole crapload of people have suggested and discussed EXACTLY what I proposed and put forth here.....and likewise, another seperate crapload of people criticized them, but NOT because it was Fraud per se, they were complaining about people spilling the beans and "hurting" other players trying to take advantage of the situation. And then still a THIRD seperate crapload of players were griping at the other two groups and saying that Revel and other csinos already KNOW the ins and outs, strengths and weaknesses, of any promotion they implement LONG before any of us players show up to play it!!! All in all, that other forum seems a whole lot more tolerant and cosmopolitan than this place, I think i will go over there and register and see what happens...... One thing is clear however....REVEL is in deep crap and this latest desperate ploy is too little too late. I hope I am wrong, but many others seem to agree with this conclusion.

Just for the record DaBurglar I am not gay and it would be very beneficial to you if you refrained from making any such insinuation. If you cannot, then I will seek to have your forum posting priviledges here suspended.
I have tried to be civil with you and I have only gotten critical of you after you started bashing me. For some reason you continually feel the need to include me in your forum posts even when I am not actively involved, this I cannot understand.

I did the match your bonus coin offer 3x...Thursday, Friday and Saturday for a total of $550. We played in their high limit room-small but nice selection of games. I didn't check out the VP games though....anyway 2 of the 3 days we hit hand pays so we ended up with no losses cause we left pretty quickly after that. There was a line at he players club but it moved quickly. They had approx. 8 people manning the desks. The casino didn't seem very crowded at all. (Resorts was the most crowded of the casinos we were at Taj Showboat Revel and Resorts.

DaBurglar, you're pushing the limits on personal attacks with some of these comments. You are welcome to disagree, but please try to do so respectfully.

Ted we stayed at Taj. They had a 10X comp dollar promo one day (we went from 400 comp dollars to 1700!) and their xmas in July event (dooney and burke bag) and comp tickets to Cyndi Lauper. We have never stayed at any other casino-we are treated too well at taj.

The article was actually geared as a warning towards those who were trying to manipulate their losses. If you play by the rules, I believe it's a great promotion and would participate if I lived closer. We'll be talking about it tomorrow night on Gambling with an Edge, where our guest is attorney Bob Nersesian.Bob

I think if anyone bothers to really go back and read from the beginning, it will be apparent I have never attacked anyone unless I was defending myself, and the humor and levity in my posts is always apparent, I do not take myself seriously unlike others. People have attacked me and my ideas and posts in a manner, and in a spirit, far more intense than anything I have let loose.....I report and talk about my experiences and viewpoint. And now I am the butt of running jokes anytime the word "dud" gets typed. I dont mind, but I cannot understand the extreme sensitivity of others when I dish it right back in my clearly humorous non threatening manner. I have even invited people to seek me out in AC if they want, but it seems unlikely they will. A few months back I called the game of roulette "kinda gay"....I meant the game had a superficial aspect of forced "happiness or fun". it was NOT directed at any person or group of people. Still, someone else took it upon themself to be "OUTRAGED" at my apparent insensitivity toward people with alternate forms of sexual practice. This was total garbage, and since then, in a few other instances they have sought to "shame" me when I talked about other topics in a honest straightforward manner. Whatever...... I'm a hearing impaired cripple with a shaved head and two pugs...picture Vin Diesel in a wheelchair with hearing aids and dogs. I have no illusions about myself, but I also like myself and other people and have never and would never harm anyone, and that includes "ratting" or reporting anyone I see doing something wrong. I dont condone such things but I do not go out of my way to judge or to "give them a piece of my mind".....who the fck am I? Who am I to judge or to criticize? I have never committed fraud even though it was insinuated.....and yet there are a lot of "gray" areas in everyday life that might be construed as fraudulent depending on which side of the coin you are betting on.....I merely suggested to Bab Dancer a way he could conceivably collect a large portion of a Revel kickback, and the way I suggested is a practice that is currently done by tens of thousands of Caesars customers. Starting with this post I will NEVER EVER mention another person by name again unless it is to sing their praises or respond on a specific issue. And I wont retaliate ever again either.....you can potshot me all you want, doesnt bother me at all. I'll prove it by just sitting here and taking it from now on....
