Re: Finally going to Vegas!!!!! November!
Speaking of carrying money....I never carry a wallet in Vegas...especially one in my hip pocket. Instead, I carry a money clip that holds credit cards and other identification on one side and clips the bills on the other side. I carry this money clip in one of my front pockets.I don't carry large amounts with me when I'm in the casinos. I leave the bulk of it in the "safe" in the room. If I run out, I just make a trip back to the room. Basically, I just don't feel comfortable at the tables or the machines, with pulling out a bankroll. That's a good way to become a mugging target!

So say you win a lot of money. What then? How do you collect it and get it to where you are going without a fuss and everyone looking?

If you hit a big handpay, there's no way to avoid other people seeing you get paid, since they pay you at the machine. Depending on what you hit, the machine's bells & whistles also go off. Hard to hide that! Similar thing with a ticket, if that's what the machine gives you when you cash out, and you cash the ticket at the cashier window.
I do what MikeA does. If I hit a nice one and still want to play, I go to the room and put most of it in the room safe. Anytime I leave a casino with a lot of money I check behind me before I leave to be sure no one's following me. On occasion I've even asked to have a casino employee walk out with me to my vehicle, or my room. Nothing wrong with that.
Hope we're not scaring you - oej's right in saying their security is good. Not something you need to really worry about, just be a little cautious.

Oej, maybe you could have some of your Vegas people keep an eye on him.

I could do that but I have no idea what Eduardo looks like? Kinda hard to watch someone if you cant find them.
Eduardo will be ok, he probably packs the heat all the time anyway, he has really been smoking people on these challenges.

Have them walk through the casino listening for a player who yells out "Hoochie Mama!" when he hits something.
Eduardo, most of the seasoned veterans here prefer the traditional "woohoo!" Sometimes you'll hear, "YES!", sometimes "Holy !". The really jaded ones just <yawn>.

I don't know if it's why you'll be in Vegas but November 13th is the start of the Global Gaming Expo. If you want to see all the new slot and VP products, that's the place to go...
