A dose of one's own medicine! Ah, the irony. Don't you hate people who pick fights?

I usually don't post much anymore as many of these threads just turn into juvenile banter for the most part. However, I can't remain quiet on the subject of taking pictures of video poker jackpots. Anyone who states that the casino stops or prevents them from taking photos with their cellphone is clearly full of crap. I've been hitting jackpots and taking photos of video poker jackpots without any resistance from any casino throughout the country for more than a decade. In fact, when I've hit a large jackpot, maybe $4000 or more, the casino personnel often ask if they can take photos for me with me in the picture as well. It's great free publicity for them.
What's the first thing you'll do when you tell your friends about the big jackpot? Show them a picture and tell them where you hit it.
Furthermore, usually when you hit a hand pay and you're sitting at the machine waiting for the slot attendant to come by to register the win and reset the machine who is going to prevent you from snapping a few pics? Security doesn't come running over. The slot attendants are never over in an instant. There's no anti-photo Nazi that drops from the ceiling to watch your every move. What happens if you take a picture before they get there, but the eye-in-the-sky saw you do so already? Do they confiscate your phone?
What pure Bull Crap that is being spewed about this subject. Reminds me of the verbal wars we used to have with RS and his shills about rigged machines and same card flip-overs.
Those that walk the walk can easily see through those that just talk the talk.

Security doesn't come running over.Just a few year back where I play here in MI, a security guard came over to me and made me delete the pic I had just taken. The casino has since stopped this practice and allow photo's. I also not long ago within the last 6 months had a worker not sure what they did at the casino, saw me taking a photo and said you can't do that. current temp 34

This past summer at Delaware Park I took a picture of just the VP machine screen and a slot attendant walked by and told me to stop taking pictures. The rule is posted along with other casino rules when you walk into the casino.

This all seems to be a bit silly to me. I don't know why a person, unless they have personally played at every casino on the continent, could presume to know the picture taking policies of all those casinos. i know for a fact that some of the casinos I've played in do not allow pictures to be taken.

Thanks wildman, Waiting4RF and OMT for affirming what I said about taking pictures at Harrah's Joliet.
damule your statement about quickly snapping a picture before the slot attendant arrives is exactly when I took the pictures. But I am telling you that if you try to take a picture while a slot attendant or security is standing there; you will be told that it isn't allowed. I can definitely walk the walk and who is full of crap now.
FAA don't stir the pot.

But it's all the only VP fun I have. Just enjoy rolling in your riches and ignore me. That's what sensible people would do.

Nice hits Ted!
gregorio did you take that picture at Harrah's Joliet? You didn't say.
I have taken at least 10 pics at Harrahs probably. I got warned for "vulturing" there once, not about taking pictures. Taking pics may technically be against the rules there, but if you haven't been told the rule in the last five years or so, things maybe have changed. I've only been asked to not take a picture twice at any casino in over 1000 attempts?
Speaking of pics, more pics from Vegas coming soon everyone!

Vman I was again told in September 2017 when I tried to take a picture of dealt queens on dollar 10 play right when the slot attendant walked up.
FAA sensible people don't make comments like: Just enjoy rolling in your riches and ignore me. Jealous people make comments like that.
