How often I have seen than. For instance Spa and Mohegan Sun employees.....tattoos, clubs, trips to Cancoon, alcohol of course. I don’t think I have talked to any who have even thought about saving for their child’s education. Exceptions of course, but with the younger ones, the free money whoo whoo seems to be the rule of thumb up this way.

Hand outs don’t lead to more tax payers. You need to incentivize to get people to work already, this will just lead to more people with a hand out wanting more. We already are a socialist system in many ways, this is a prime example

Here is what happened in Colorado during the lock down...

In return, the state reaped $32,383,094 in revenue from taxes and fees. Colorado's sales were $1.7 billion in 2019 and $1.5 billion in 2018."
My guess is that the money went there during the Federal eviction ban.

Seemoreroyals, you are not alone. I like Biden and think he is the right man for the job at this time. Empathy and compassion are back in the WH. Competency in the Cabinet is back. Fighting the virus in a competent way. It is very reassuring. Is he perfect, no, no one is, but he is a good man with experience and knowledge and is surrounding himself with people who are qualified for their positions. This whole dementia thing is laughable. It is as if people seem to forget the numerous gaffes, misspeaks and blunders the former guy committed.

The Relief bill that passed will help people directly with stimulus payments and the child tax credit which will give them a monthly payment for each child for 1 year and also child care subsidies which encourage parents to work. Child poverty in the US is one of the highest percentages in the developed world. By moving children out of poverty, we are setting them up for success and a better future for them and the country. The bill also reduces health insurance payments that benefit most people.

Many of the comments here regarding stimulus payments and child tax cuts and how they will be spent seem to have some racist undertones to them. Why is it that when people in need are helped, people assume they will blow the money and not help their families? I hear nobody complaining when the rich are given tax cuts and corporations give huge bonuses and salaries to themselves and pay next to nothing to their employees.

As far as the former guy running again, there isn't a chance he will. He has some serious legal troubles he is currently facing and even more serious ones coming. No one deserves it more than him.

It's so much easier to blame voter fraud, and imaginary green screens than to accept that an overwhelming majority of Americans reject the way you think. Especially when everyone in your circle and everyone on your news outlets march in step with you.
I saw a guy last night for the first time in weeks We had a $25 bet on the election he refused to pay. First it was one thing, then it was wait for the EC, then wait for the Supreme Court. Then it was that the real president was getting sworn in March 4th or 5th. Not only does he believe trump won, but he thinks the armed forces are going to disband Congress and install trump as supreme leader, but not a dictator.
