If only people would read the topics under the "LEARN" tab, we wouldn't need anyone new, old or otherwise. Evidently, people either don't want to or are incapable of learning and need to be told repeatedly?
Then again, based on recent (and not so recent) postings, it doesn't matter how often some of these maxims are raised- they continue to be ignored and unheeded.

39 years of experience, and we only get two posts?

Maybe that's all he had to say. The machines aren't rigged. And Bob Dancer is lying. What else do you need to know?

They could have told us how to know which machines in the casino were ripe for a payout. Because, doesn't EVERY casino worker know this?

My favorite phrase from a retiring slot tech is the Vp machines are partially random. He wouldn’t elaborate! Hmmmmm. I just play my game and most of the time don’t worry about it.

Probably my 39 years of experience in the gaming industry would lead me to a better investment of $2,000 than donating it to my former employers and stockholders.

You would be the exception imo. In my observation, casino employees are some of the most devoted degenerates.

Were you allowed to gamble in your own casino?

I have to agree. In Ct, almost all of them play at the other Ct casino they don’t work at.

I personally, don't gamble with investment money, I strictly gamble with fun money.

Are you unsure of what you wrote? Why use the word "Probably?" Why didn't you just write: "My 39 years of experience in the gaming industry would lead me to a better investment of $2,000 than donating it to my former employers and stockholders?"

"Probably" was inserted into the sentence in an attempt to make the poster who wasted their $2K feel a bit better. But you are indeed correct ---- there would have been no "probably" in my decision not to blow $2,000 on a sure-fire losing proposition. I commend you for the good catch there.

Thank you for trying to soften the blow.
