Marie...I've played in casinos where the countdown continues where you left off when you go to another machine. The count will even adjust to the type of machine you're playing.... e.g....slots vs VP.As for the afore-mentioned strange ritual, anyone who tries to confuse a machine is a half-bubble off plumb, in my opinion.

Another annoying ritual I've sat next to is the woman that puts in and pulls out the player's club card - on every spin.  You have to wonder what that does for her....

I'm with you, Marie, as far as a Players Card is concerned. I leave when I'm ready; one more point is not going to make/break my day. I have heard some folks say they think they win more without their card in, because then the casino doesn't have to award them their earned points for that play. I would like to beleive that the machine is "square", and the RNG could care less whether a Players Card is in or not.

It's nice to see that the latest slur against you didn't set you off.  Oej and I were worried about that.  We also agree that the writer hasn't seen any long green like that in a while and was just lashing out in frustration.  So it wasn't personal, it was just, um, personal I guess.
