Have fun at the technology conference rolan. Don't get eaten by any frightening new technologies like a server-based game.

  Another reason for him to stay away is that those darn game companies with SBC/SSG will doubtless be collecting info to profile progression players.  They'll use that to cheat them out of small and large winners at their top denomination.  They are so-o-o-o sneaky!

I got a good laugh at roblandud's latest comment. I'll be waiting for him to explain why a player MUST start playing at a particular denomination. I suppose the security guards will throw him out if he plays another machine/denomination.

I can tell I really nailed RD this time. Not a single logical comment in his reply. He's getting desperate and he realizes that he's not making a bit of sense. Look for him to either leave or get nastier and nastier.

As usual new2vp gave a very logical response to Eduardo's question. Of course, it shows why roblandud kept avoiding it. Like all con men they must avoid the truth at all costs.

I got a good laugh at roblandud's latest comment.S-man, I liked the letter play in this latest nickname.  If I may go a step further, I think one that is more à propos for the dynamic duo is "rob&dud."

[QUOTE=rolanddude]
Another TRUTH is that IF you are lucky you will go many, many sessions without a loss with STS and win much more $ than you will lose with an occasional bad session.  (you have around an 80% chance of winning your session using STS)

You're saying that a steady diet of good luck is necessary to win more $'s over time with a STS?  I'd agree with that, but what about those of us who aren't naturally lucky?  As far as I know, you can't sell or buy luck.

I find it hard to believe that someone living in Florida for as long as RD has would not know how to spell Gainesville. It's vastly well known in Florida as the home of UF. However...perhaps someone in Phoenix might not be aware of the correct spelling.

I think there are only two kinds of luck that come into play for an STS - "good" and "average".  The third kind is only for AP.

It seems some STS promoters also have finely tuned senses. "Sixth" sense, "Non" sense. Just not that unimportant one called "Common."

There is so much I would like to say and show you guys... Webman stopped my video service here...  Technology is such a great thing... such a shame.  So I guess I'll have to type s'more.  (or some more in case rascal did not understand my "typo"...

It would be very easy for Webman to see the origin of the posts here.  If any were coming from Rob in Phoenix he would be able to blast me out of the water...  So keep showing your ignorance rascal, shady man, and all others here that make any post I contribute to a "center of activity" on this site... (uh oh, maybe people will now think that Webman asks me to do this so he can show more hits on the site to justify his advertisement pricing on here... now there is a conspiracy for y'all...!!!)

As for Shady Man's lack of understanding of Short Term Play let me REHASH why there HAS to be a BASELINE denomination...

In order to compare AP and STS properly you would have to take an AP player that has a $1000 bankroll to play on a .25 machine, and have an STS player that would take the same $1000 bankroll and "Start" at the same .25 machine.  THIS IS IMPERATIVE TO UNDERSTAND... The difference in the two approaches is that after losing a preset amount the STS player will jump to a higher denom.  If they are WINNING they stay at the same denom and WIN THE SAME AMOUNT if both are playing without mistakes a/o special plays.  There would not be a time when a JACKPOT is hit at a higher level than STS because the AP player would ALWAYS stay at .25.

The reason it is called Short Term Strategy is because a Short Term Player will go through his bankroll quicker than an AP player...BUT if a good hit is registered at any point after switching denom the STS player will BE AHEAD of the AP player simply because of value per credit.  If the STS player loses his $1000 he quits...The AP player at that point would still have money to sit and play and grind and HOPE to get a ROYAL to make him a winner for that session... Otherwise if he is down more than $500 any other hit will just bring him back a little so that he can sit and grind more and hope to finally get a Royal to make him a winner.   IT'S NOT A HARD CONCEPT TO UNDERSTAND THAT A STS PLAYER WOULD RATHER TRY FOR A SMALLER HIT AT A HIGHER DENOM AND BE SATISFIED WITH ANY PROFIT OVER $50 per session.

I'm off to a B-day party... I turn 41 early next week and the fam wants to celebrate t'nite.  BTW rascal,  my workshop I taught today on Archer Rd down by Shand's Hospital was a success.  Everyone loves this video email service I have!!!
