DaBurglar I brought the watches because I like to have a choice. Pawn them? I doubt it pal. I also brought 14 shirts, 2 sport coats, and one suit, Again, to have a choice. Let me guess, when you go to Atlantic City you think you're styling because you have a clean baseball cap on your head and a clean t-shirt on?

I eat neither Swiss cheese nor rye bread.

I actually brought 7 watches with me; I packed 6 and wore one of the Tag's. Whoa    is everyone getting this???Ted likes to have a......"CHOICE"......he just, in none too subtle a way, attempted to portray himself as now being a "wealthy" gambler, and not just a regular down to earth middle class frugal player which, up until this thread, was the image he sought to portray.Ok Ted, so you own six really valuable watches, one of which is a......ooohh, a TAG!   wowTell you what, it is 12:53 am and I will be dozing off shortly.....if you can post a picture of these six watches (seven, sorry)  by tomorrow altogether, I will believe you.   By "Altogether, I mean all in the same photo, not one by one"In the meantime, you still have not answered my question(s) about this abusive TSA dude and what he said (exactly) and in response to your rather insulting response.....in other words, this story is so NON-believable, I totally could care less about your 80% winningstreak now......This fiction is for your benefit, not mine......polite way of saying, distract all you want "PAL",  I got ya......I totally got ya.    BUSTED

Actually I own quuite a few more watches than just the 7 I brought with me to Las Vegas. As for how the TSA agent responded when I flatly told him that I was not putting that much cash into the plastic bin - he grumbled... Kinda sounded like you.

Kinda sounded like you.Hey Ted, what do you think has changed now that you have claimed to own a whole bunch of really expensive watches on a video poker forum???   Do you think everyone's opinion or image of you is better, worse, or about the same?     My guess is most everyone that has bothered to even read one tenth of the BS we are polluting the forum with  has probably said something like this to themself:   "If Ted REALLY is as wealthy as he is attempting to portray himself in this thread, then WTF is he doing on a VP forum sparring with some crippled wise ass trying to convince said crippled wise ass of some nebulous aspect of superiority by virtue of some friggin watch collection???"      huh?no one cares except YOU Ted......

Some people collect bumper stickers, baseball caps, or thumbtacks, me? I collect watches.

You continue to go through life being bitter DaBurglar; you've had alot of practice at it.

[/QUOTE]WTH is this???     Paperwork when making a "large cash deposit"?     huh?     other than a deposit slip, I am lost here.......exactly how much are you talking about????

You might find this interesting. http://budgeting.thenest.com/bank-repor ... 23318.html

What cash is being confiscated by an "intediction patrolman"?    What on earth are you talking about?

http://www.reviewjournal.com/news/nevad ... ts-concern

And why not simply flash one of your numerous handguns and tell the bastard to buzz off  "OR ELSE....!"?

That's called brandishing. It can get you shot.

And you need to fire your CPA (unless this too is another totally BS story out of Ted's book) because, unless you are making regular ATM deposits of 8 or 9 grand (like everyday, same amounts, for weeks on end),  a simple ATM Deposit of several thousand dollars (say between 3 and 5 thousand)  done a couple of times over a several day long period of time in a place like Vegas is NOT going to set off any alarm bells in anyone's cubicle!!!!   Good grief!

Thanks for the advice, but I'll stick with my CPA.

Wow great hits! I didn't do too bad this past week, but not like that! And I broke my watch in Vegas... Maybe you can offer me a deal on another one?

With Rio and M as choices, I hope you are planning to rent a car. It would be so awesome if the M was on the Strip...but alas, no.

According to this site, the M also has 6 Dream Card games available.

And I guess you forgot about this Ted...

wtg ted!since you lost at the linq maybe that will be my place to win again in october, lol.

I left some money at TAG lounge there this trip.     Best of luck trying to win some of it!

Nice Ted, can't wait for my spring trip to Vegas. Plan on playing the $1.00 single line 9/6 Jacks at the high limit room at Luxor, if it's still there. Can walk there since we are staying at Mandalay Bay. Hope to break free from the crowd and check out Red Rock Station , M and South Point. Nice to come home with an expanded bankroll for the local casinos.

Yep, it's still there. I double checked Wednesday.

Hope to get my full TR up within a week.

Thanks Vman. As for the watches; I'm a collector not a seller. Unless of course I get a premium return through a sale. My nephews all know about my collection and it'll be up to them as how to divide because I can't take them with me...

Edited to add: I too am looking forward to your trip report Vman, and early congratulations on whatever good fortune you or your girlfriend may have found in Las Vegas.
