Re: Four to a royal question
Last time I was in AC the guy next to me was delt 4 to a royal. He also had a high pair. He said his luck was so bad that day he would never hit the royal. So he keep the hair pair. Twice I have had 4 to a royal and I got the royal flush.

Twice I have had 4 to a royal and I got the royal flush. That's funny!!! Talk about creating your own reality. So I used to be in charge of the training program for a huge slot team. I got paid $15 and hour just to watch other people play and correct them. I was so used to doing this it became second nature. Now for the funny part.I was walking thru Circus Circus scouting progressives and saw a gentleman about to hold a pat flush over 4RF and shouted really loudly, "Stop!!! you have four to the Royal". Of course he thought I was a nutter, since I didn't know him. I had gotten so use to correcting people, I started correcting everyone, even when I was off duty.~FKP.S. He changed his hold and got the Royal. Of course this was a meter our team was hoping to play, great for him, not so good for us...Had I kept my mouth we'd have had a good play. The meter was over $11,000...

I meant the last 2 royals I hit started out as straight flushes, both hit. I don't remember ever throwing away a SF before - because 250 coins are better than 0. But I do not remember any that could have turned into a royal. I'm sure it's happened, I just didn't decide to take the gamble before those recent hits. (the word chicken comes to mind) The 2 royals above were hit at the M Resort - one in December 2011, the other in November 2011. Hope that's enough information.
