So, as I was saying, before being interrupted; I'm thinking road trip this upcoming Labor Day weekend. So far this summer I've been to Tunica over Memorial Day weekend and Cincinnati/Lawrenceburg this past July Fourth weekend. For Labor Day weekend I'm thinking maybe Minnesota or Detroit? Atlantic City? Iowa or St. Louis?

Hi Ted. You probably won't make it this far North East, but just in case you do make it to Mohegan some day, I should be able to keep some of your costs down here and there. Labor Day Weekend will be packed like sardines up here. At least that has been the case in prior years. Only 6k more miles to go on my old Saturn to hit 300k miles. Hope it makes it. 200k of those miles are trips to Mohegan.

St. Louis is at the top of the list Vman. I will probably drive down Saturday morning and drive back Sunday night. I may stop at Jumpers on the way back home. You'll be able to see that I wear long pants and that I'm realatively normal even considering that I'm chummy with Billyjoe.

(maybe a little longer) I would be THRILLED to have you show up in AC for a few days......so many reasons I'd love to see you there, and so many things to discuss and resolve.Give it some serious thought please....I would be more than willing to help you with a free room if you have difficulty finding a comed lodging arrangement.

I'm guessing you forgot a "p" and meant to type comped and not comed? At this time I don't need any assistance with getting a room - anywhere.

I did give it serious thought but I have fewer reasons (one actually) to go than you have for me to come. Plus I wouldn't have my writ of Noli habere bovis, vir ready in time to serve you with.

Plus I wouldn't have my writ of Noli habere bovis, vir ready in time to serve you with.wOW  WHAT A GOOD GUESS on the missing "p".....I'd hate to play scrabble with you.   And I was not offering to find you a chomped room "Anywhere", only in AC (which, with the room supply now cut by 25% rather abruptly, and assuming you'd be visiting over a Friday-Saturday period when rooms are scarce, especially camped, you might have to book wayyyy ahead to ensure what you want.   And why would I be having a cow?
