Re: Video Poker "Manipulation"
obama stated early on, he was going to 'fundamently change america'. i am guessing that many who voted for him, did not understand that his vision for america was much different than their own. it is clear to me that he does not like america. in a new poll released on 'meet the press' (as liberal as one can get), the poll tried to ascertain who were the 'angriest americans'. the media has been telling us that it was white men, who were attached to their guns and bibles. well, as it turns out, the angriest group in america is WHITE WOMEN, the very group that was largely responsible for putting obama in the white house. a group that few would call racist or bigoted. i think it would be a good idea to remember that before he was elected, he had accomplished....nothing. no doubt he came into a very difficult situation, but he knew it beforehand. he was unprepared and did not concentrate on solving the problems the country had. instead, he was so hell bent on his ideology and his dislike for america, as he saw it. what ticked me off as much as anything was how many times he used the term 'inherited',when describing the country's problems and how often he criticized the previous administration. i cannot remember any previous president ever doing that. he showed no class. in his latest speech on gun control, i read he referred to himself over 70 times in his speech. what a jerk.

I am a Civil Engineer by trade. Taught to be logical and a problem solver, although I always thought I was able to identify a problem, figure out how to solve it and go from there. I am not a political ideologue. My family were always loyal Democrats.I grew up in the housing projects in Queens New York, so I am not a child of priviledge, although I inherited my Mom's intelligence and my Dad's work ethic, so I guess I was lucky. John Kennedy was their idol. John Kennedy would not be a Democrat today. I have tried to tell my 2 daughters, do some critical thinking on your own and don't follow the crowd if you disagree where they are going. Myself, the last Democrat I voted for was Bill Bradley. Thought he would be independent, but he turned out to be a run of the mill partisan. What does Washington do to these people? I am a Republican not because they do good things, but because they do less damage than Democrats. That's it. Now I am going back to VP Posts. I have said my piece.

And you have said it very well. I can't even say the O word, much less look at him. My piece would not be fit for print, so I am heading out for some fresh air and hope to be able to get back to thinking about vp.

Not that the casino where I go would play it, but for me....Quicksilver Messenger Service, Santana, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Electric Prunes, The Blues Project, Fleetwood Mac, ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, The Kinks, and last, but not least Grand Funk Railroad....Now don't ask me which is more fun while listening to this music...racing my buddies in my 65 442 years ago or hitting the elusive premium hands in vp. I really can't answer that one. I could tell you which one is a lot cheaper though.... ....

The music I enjoy listening to the most is that little ditty that plays while you're awaiting a hand pay.

Food for thought.
Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out
of money. But we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of
money? What's interesting is the first group "worked†for their money,
the second group didn't.Why
are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our
military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we
are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens.
100% wrong, all of this.To compare Social security to something like food stamps and welfare is ridiculous, they are NOT AT ALL ALIKE....I do not even have to argue any further, your argument is just BS based on that point alone, but I will indulge you.First off, "Welfare" as you want to call is NOT an easy life, nor are people on it "Living large"....MOST people on it truly need it. I would ask you to simply LOOK at this website for just a moment before you make any more statements that are not true:http://www.statisticbrain.com/welfare-statistics/(PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE look at that website before you reply any further.....and try to incorporate some of the info into your responses......PLEASE! If you will notice, the actual website is Neither a government site nor is it owned by a "liberal" organization; it is actually a right-leaning website which is why I chose it to make the point that I did!)Then, this website deals with the USA FOOD STAMP (called SNAP) program itself......again, please please please read it!Your blanket statement about people on Social Security all WORKED for their money, while food stamp recipients/welfare people DO NOT work is totally false/inaccurate/wrong....seriously, what on earth did you base this conclusion on???? In MOST States (the level on which Food stamps and welfare is actually ADMINISTERED, and paid for by the way.....) a requirement to receive food and welfare assistance is that people actually be employed or looking for work....and most do work or are trying to work, the food stamps are simply a SUPPLEMENT. I would ask you to actually look into trying to BUY food with food stamps.....see what you actually have a choice buying and what you can, and cannot get. You will see , again, that food stamps do NOT allow people to eat really great food or have rich diets.Social security recipients have not ALL worked for their money.....only those who have reached the age of retirement can collect, and point of fact, if a person actually, somehow, never managed to work a day in his life, when he turns 67 9or 68?), he can collect a certain "MINIMUM/MINIMAL" amount simply by virtue of his age and having a valid SS#......many people currently collecting are widows/ers receiving a spouses benefits, many are disabled (either born that way or becoming disabled later in life.....) AGAIN, I would ask you to actually LOOK UP the actual numbers on Social Security to see just what is going on and who gets what and why/how. But this BS comparing Food stamps and Social security us just WRONG!Lastly......where is your evidence or basis that benefits to "our veterans" are being slashed, that the military is getting NO raises whatsoever, while at the same time we are paying all kinds of "Benefits" to illegal aliens????? WHAT ON EARTH are you talking about!?!?!?!? Seriously, try to answer (if you can, although I doubt you will because quite simply, you made this up to justify your individual anger and prejudice. and these "statements" as you made them are totally baseless....) And "cutting our army" to a level before World War two is important because......? Why exactly did you choose World war two as a reference point? You do understand the difference(s) between then and now, right? How today, ALL military spending and deployment by the USA is voluntary and discretionary, while in 1941, the USA was isolationist, the world was NOT, repeat NOT interconnected, no Nuclear weapons existed, and up until pearl harbor, there was no "need" for the USA to have a massive military with a MASSIVE budget. Again, i have no idea where or what your points are for making this off the wall claim/comment/comparison.The fact is, as of late, veterans Benefits have been improving (which I totally SUPPORT and which I agree was long overdue), our military has in fact received decent pay raises, and contrary to what people like you WANT to believe, ILLEGAL ALIENS DO NOT RECEIVE lots and lots of "benefits" or payments......lol, they just don't. Again, most illegals are AFRAID to do anything or see anyone or apply for anything that might draw attention to themselves, therefore it makes it extremely difficult to receive anything at all! Plus, there simply are NOT benefits and payments that are available to them even if they do apply........wtf is it that you people are even talking about? Why do people want to blame so much on illegal aliens? You honestly believe that, if the US government could just get rid of all illegals, our problems would shrink even a small amount, or that things in general would become so much better?!?!?! I am not AT ALL saying the problem of illegal immigration should be ignored, of course not; But for crying out loud, what the hell is wrong with all of you to continuously distort and misrepresent the facts and reality bu stating things like you did in your original post (that Illegals are getting all kinds or payouts & benefits while simultaneously our military and veterans are somehow being shortchanged or even ignored????)
