Olds, the Multi Strike strategy is different from traditional VP strategy, especially on the bottom lines.  Check it out before you dive in all the way. And, be prepared to grit your teeth a lot as you go through deal after deal without getting beyond level two.

I'm not too worried about the strategy on DDS since we are not deciding which cards to hold. I can't see where it would be any different than regular DDS. Draw poker on the other hand...yes lots different to hold or not hold. OMT I hear you on not getting past level 2. In fact playing Multi Strike with regular draw poker, I have done the best just playing 2 lines not 4. Unfortunately, there is a short coin royal penalty for doing this so I don't play the game very often. It will be interesting to see how it works on DDS. I'm giving up a very small penalty for short coining it on the DDS game....around a quarter of a percent if I remember.

Been thinking about making a run at DDB the rest of the year. I have 99.96% pay tables to play just never had much interest in it till now. Been practicing it. I also have NSUD 99.73% so what game would you play giving them pay tables? I know yours Phil!

It certainly wouldn't be a tough decision for me, given my dislike for ddb, and preference for deuces wild games. I would gladly give up 0.2% return to play a game I like versus one I don't.

No hesitation here.  I would play DW over DDB even if the odds were the same.   I hate losing more than most players, so for me DDB is pure torture.  I agree it's fun when the quads are coming, but the long dry spells put me in a tail spin.

Yeah, MS Double Down Stud strategy wouldn't change. You can't change the probability of advancing a level by your decisions in DDS unlike draw games. Hope you can find deuces on the top line!

As for 40/10/6 DDB vs. NSUD, I probably give DDB more play. Now if it was 40/10/6 vs. APDW (Both 99.96%), I would play more APDW. Unfortunately APDW is a pain to find.

And, be prepared to grit your teeth a lot as you go through deal after deal without getting beyond level two. I just completed a 50 deal session of today's daily contest game (multistrike) that illustrates how tough it can be.

In 50 deals, I advanced to level three just 6 times, and to level 4, only 2. Playing for real in a casino, I would have been down 665 credits for that short period of play.
