CK I too, find Morton's to be well above average. Add tothat short list: Lawry's, M & S, for across the country; and, locally a few select favorites. I will pass on some of the better known Chicago steakhouses for favorites in the suburbs. Carve me a nice USDA Prime rib eye, medium, and I'm quite the happy eater. Sides of course would include a plain baked potato and creamed spinach.

CBK where is Lone Wolf's located? Put it on my traveling map.

Hey Ted, it's in Jackson California...It is our local casino. One hour east of Sacramento, two hours south/west of Lake Tahoe.

Perish the thought Ted. I didn't think that at all.

Speaking of steak though, I prefer Morton's prime cuts of beef to be Gallagher's. While pricey, they don't let you leave hungry.

CKhuh? What are you saying here, that when You leave Gallagher's you are still hungry, but when You leave Morton's you are satiated?   That makes zero sense.....for starters, you correctly state that Mortons is more expensive than Gallagher's but then imply that the significant difference in price is justified because .... (somehow) ... Mortons gives you MORE and that this difference means you will NOT be hungry when you leave? For starters when comparing you need to obviously make sure you compare on a level playing field, which is to say you compare NY City locations to other NY city locations, Chicago to Chicago and of course, Atlantic City to Atlantic city....I will stick to Atlantic City, comparing the Mortons located in Caesars Palace to the Gallaghers located in Resorts-AC.....Here is the ATLANTIC CITY Gallaghers in Resorts-AC Menu:https://resortsac.com/wp-content/upload ... 016.pdfNow here is the Mortons in Caesars Palace Atlantic City Menu:https://www.caesars.com/content/dam/cac ... 31.16.pdfI have dined at both, but admittedly I have been to Gallaghers in AC (several dozen times) FAR FAR more than Mortons in AC (four times total since 2013) but still enough to know what I am talking about....To start  with the Menu for Gallaghers in Resorts-AC is smaller and limited in comparison to Mortons, but that is only because Gallaghers has a huge OFF-the-Menu selection whereby the customer can order virtually anything that is actually NOT on the formal printed menu (as one small example, Shoestring French Fries are a staple at the Gallaghers Burger Bar, but are not formally listed on the sit-down dining menu for the steakhouse, but they are indeed OFFERED and Available.......PLUS, unbeknownst to the general eating public, Shoestring Fries ordered as an accompanying side dish for one of Gallaghers-AC steakhouse dinner entree's  are   <drumroll please>   ALL YOU CAN EAT, meaning if you want seconds (or thirds) on the fries, they will gladly give them to you . . . . . .  so much for leaving hungry, eh?   And I might add, the Shoestrig Fries at Gallagher's are totally awesome....But seriously, look at the main focal point, the MEAT....clearly Gallagher's AC menu offers nearly the same portions & sizes at significantly better prices than Mortons AC.....I ALSO WANT TO MAKE SURE THE FOLLOWING IS UNDERSTOOD:I am NOT saying that Mortons Steakhouse is NOT Excellent or Delicious or anything negative....on the contrary, MORTONS is in and of itself an AWESOMELY great, delicious, amazing steakhouse/restaurant!    I love Mortons quite a bit ...... I just happen to love Gallaghers somewhat more.....it is that simple.

Couldn't you just have said something simple like: "I enjoy a great steak too?"

Well you are truer to your colors than just about anyone I might know, definitely more "truer-er" than me.
