I also started a position in WEAT
I've been accumulating AGRO.

Started less than two weeks ago at 8 and continued buying down to 7. At the moment it's 7 and a half.

I'm not confident of inflation ahead, but food and energy high prices could easily be stickier than other things.

Stock price plunged 20% this morning to below 7. I screwed up my alerts and didn't see the news until the final hour. I think it's a buy at 7.50, but I could have had it much lower. What to do?

I decided to wait for a pullback.
Looked like WDOFF was off to the races this morning, but it ran out of gas.

Just before the close, I was able to purchase one globule at 7.19. (Chart above is delayed.)

I'll buy more tomorrow if it goes any lower.

The markets were -0.69%, -0.84%, -0.81%. I was -0.50%. CHIPS Act may not even benefit my semiconductor companies much, if at all. Intel would emerge as the big winner.

I screwed up today. Was still sleeping at the casino from playing overnight till 5 am and didn’t catch the sqqq open around 49 and later near the close it was 54. I would have been out and 500 bucks to the good. 😬 My loss today was .04 of 1 percent. Continuing the tie up cash play so losses should continue to shrink. A few exceptions. I still have Disney 😬 and even just a little Tesla. 😬. I’m not worried about Prudential and Travelers so much as some of the smaller companies I have that may be in a cash crunch. I am a bit concerned with BGS if people go generic instead of Green Giant, but it’s a keeper for me unless they slash the dividend.

I sense I may have a shot at picking up sqqq this morning. It will have to retrace 3 points, but if we have a strong opening, I have a good shot at grabbing it. It seems to like that low to mid 50’s trading range with spikes in both directions. I will have my finger on the buy button if things go my way.

I got it a little while ago. Only half my usual amount. I can add to it if the market stays up or goes even higher

Tough day for the CNBC headline writers because stocks are +2% on no news. They're going with "investors betting on better-than-expected earnings."

Seems like an oxymoron to me. If the majority thinks expectations are wrong, then it means the expectations aren't the expectations anymore.

But I guess that's too long for a headline.
