I agree with this.
There's no reason why casino employees can't be cordial in reminding folks to comply. It's also logical that the employees shouldn't be lurking behind pillars, waiting for you to err.
However, I still prefer the casino does SOMETHING, even if done rudely, than do nothing at all.
I confirmed that businesses can be fined by OSHA up to $135,000 for being non-compliant. IMO, places like the M Casino should be snapping to attention by that number alone . . . but they don't care.
Another example this week of the crazy political stances by non-mask wearers: an older woman at my local Vegas Costco having a toddler temper tantrum ON THE FLOOR, refusing to leave Costco when asked to put on a mask. The video of this is funny . . . she has a mask hanging off one ear, but instead chose to assert her "rights" (in a private business--Costco).
