Tolerance is key. I was +$85, but went to a second casino yesterday for a quick max quad and an easy $100 at least. But I was soon waging a life and death struggle which spanned three machines. The first was ice cold. The second lukewarm, busting me in just over an hour. The third was just right. Max quad. No guarantee as my bets wildly vary. I achieved two thirds of my goal, +$69, and it dragged on for 90 minutes. I could have stopped at +$1, but I was too enraged by the losing.

Well...sometimes a loss feels like a win. Long
Battle of fpdw, over 5500 hands...at one point down over $400 but managed to fight back with a quad deuce and a few hands and left down -$99. Lots of royal flush teases this time around. Sigh.
Anyway, on to the next.
P.S. Try not to get too excited about the wins or the losses (easier said than done)...each session should be a blip in the overall matrix.

Uh huh. Those of us not playing hundreds of sessions a year do care about our blips.

Never said not to care, just don't get too excited.

One of those sessions today where it felt I was climbing uphill the whole way. Quickly went down from 300 to 50 and stayed at around 50 for a long battle until finally losing the battle. -$300 for this one. Fpdw. Starting to feel the pinch of no royals as the losses start mounting. Need some royals sooner than later...
Cheers

Once again I test the waters of 10/6 DDB .25c single line, once again it schools me fast and brutal, -$400. I decide to get off it and play some fpdw and had to flop the deuces to get them. 10 or so flopped trip deuces could not yield a fourth. So got back a hundred of the DDB massacre and leave -$300.
Cheers

This is what frustrates me. We are simply too stubborn to leave cold machines. Coolers never rebound for me. If I break even, it's a miracle. As inconvenient as it may be, we should simply walk. I know there's a ton of anecdotal evidence to the contrary, of course. None of it is mine.

Finally bag the elephant! Hit the Royal flush on a redraw of all things. It was much needed and a long time coming. So +$800 for this one and puts a dent on some of these painful losses this month.
Cheers!

Felt bad for winning so much on the Royal flush, so gave back half tonight...300 on my nemesis 10/6 DDB .25c and 100 on triple
Play deuces, total -$400. Wanted the give back more but hit the deuces. So cheers and on to the next.
Ps all in jest, of course
